Best GPS I Have Owned
- Pros: Despite the poor reviews I still ordered this unit. I have to say it is awesome. I love it!!! The unit is fast accurate and right to the point. All the features are perfect. If you want a great GPS packed with features this is it. I use the Bluetooth calling everyday on it. People can hear me clearly and have no clue that I am talking through a GPS. I have even driven on the highway with the windows down and people have no idea that I am talking from the car, its all where you mount the unit that makes the difference. MSN Direct is really cool its great having weather, movies, especially GAS prices (not to mention they are accurate) and more and your fingertips.

Great product
- Pros: - Very slick looking
- Bluetooth/Phone features work great
- MSN Traffic is pretty cool. See weather, gas prices, traffic, movie times, etc.
- Fast recalculating of routes if I make a wrong turn
- Great support/updates. Just downloaded a new map version that came out a few days ago!
- Accurate GPS positioning and initial locking in
- Cons: - FM transmitter is pretty weak as most reviews say
- Touchscreen you have to press a tad firm... not too bad though.
- Not too much else yet!
- Other Thoughts: I posted a review due to the very lacking first review from the other user. Maybe he had a defective unit, but mine acquires signal very fast. Also, the 765t sold on here has a five star rating, which is the exact same GPS as this one except that this one uses a different traffic system (MSN Direct), which is why it costs a $100 more.
Last thought; I would probably ditch the windshield mount that the GPS comes with and get one of the dashboard friction mounts... a TON nicer looking and you can easily put it away to deter theft.

- Pros: its hard to get lost with even the worst of gps units
- Cons: this unit is expensive, and slow. many points of interest such as staples or stickley & audi stores are not included. when looking for favorites it shows you what is closest to you, not particularly handy- we usually know how to get from a to b if its extremely close- so it should allow you to sort by frequency used maybe or a user setting. auto-zoom is terrible. having to navigate in the country with a road every mile is just fine, but getting into the city driving is a nightmare, you are not sure where its telling you to go graphically, and if you wait for the voice to tell you it is a gamble whether or not you will drive by the turn before the notification. it takes the strangest routes sometimes, through the city, we don't know why.
- Other Thoughts: for the money garmin charges they should clean up their act. the thing is painfully slow to calculate anything such as routes or finding points of interest. sitting in a parking lot all day waiting for the gps is no fun. for a hundred bucks it would be tolerable but for the premium they charge there is just too much room for improvement.
