Pros: Good precision, lane assist, intuitive directions and controls. Love love love the speed limit indicator. Kids enjoy choosing the displayed vehicle downloaded from Garmin Garage. It looks like Garmin may have had an early firmware issue and was glutted with returns. Now that they fixed the code, this is a great opportunity to get a great unit with great features at a great price.
Cons: Only small nits to pick: Single button access to a mute function from the map screen would be handy. The unit sometimes trips up when entering an address in the boonies -- the street addresses don't always match the official post office town. Often the unit thinks the address is located in the closest geographic town even though a letter wouldn't get addressed that way. One last issue for those in the boonies: I have yet to figure out how to properly enter a county road address. Is it "CR", "C.R.", "County Road", etc?
Other Thoughts: Don't disengage your brain -- the GPS can and will steer you wrong occasionally. Keep in mind that since this unit will have had a previous owner who has received a satellite fix more than 60 days prior, you will most likely not get an automatic map update. However, call Garmin tech support and explain you just bought a refurb 765T from Newegg and that you would like the latest maps. They'll ask you to verify your purchase (I forwarded the newegg order confirmation email while on the phone with them) and they'll approve you to download a free map update.

Pros: Great unit - does what I wanted!
Cons: Had issues updating the firmware - the unit kept freezing. I contacted Garmin and sent my unit away to the Canadian repair shop. I had to wait a month, but the unit was replaced for free - it just cost me $7 shipping... They were excellent to deal with. Totally worth the hundreds I saved.
