Go to www.garmin.com/webupdate" message (even though I did not buy the FM option and the unit was working well previously). Missing cable vs. $20.00 off promo code makes this a good deal imo. Will leave another score in the future if I have any problems. Other Thoughts: USB male A to male B micro cable is required for PC to nuvi communication - plugs directly into bottom of unit (I bought mine for $1.99 on an auction site prior to finding Newegg). USB male A to male mini cable works for PC charging ONLY - plugs into the back of vehicle mount. Download and install latest Garmin USB drivers and Garmin Communicator Plugin. Nuvi updates available @ garmin/mydashboard. Recommend sexy Aussie gf Matilda voice. :) SD card will require 2 folders. Garmin and POI - place POI inside Garmin folder. Unlocked IMG maps go in the Garmin folder, custom POI's go in POI folder. Bought this to drive old folks to their appointments. Volunteering is good, and it's good for you! Also there is no headphone connector Other Thoughts: I already owned a SteetPilot that I liked fine; but it is several years old and the cost to updates maps from Garmin is exorbitant. The unit requires a "mini" usb cable to connect to the computer. Guess what: it is not included in the box! No cable. You can buy one from them for $25 and wait another week for it to arrive. Every other bleeding device I have, uses a regular usb cable; not apparently this beauty. Newegg is fine, but should have disclosed this tid bit.
