Power cable is plenty long enough if you want to route it in a clean path (not blocking the stereo or HVAC controls in the car). Cons: None. Other Thoughts: This device has worked well for me in the 2+ years I've owned it. The only issue I've run into was running out of memory when doing a map update the other night. Look for that hidden return policy. 1.Can not unlock maps error. 2.out of the box poor reception. 3. Went to return and found "non-refundable" in a obtuse location. 4. You have to delete files from the device to fix the maps. How many buyers do you think have a clue how to do that. I know how but have yet to try it. Hope that the fix works. Another "may" fix it is to edit a .UNL file on the device. ?Any idea how to do that? Grab that garmin tech support phone number and start dialing. I have no doubt any replacement unit would have the same issue. % are not in my favor. Google "Garmin can't unlock maps". I will read the return policy before buying from newegg. It did not use to be in such an obtuse location. Other Thoughts: Avoid Garmin refurbished items unless you can edit or delete files on the unit. = not consumer friendly. Cons: None Other Thoughts: Coming from aging magellan, this GPS is great upgrade. Quick, accurate, and lifetime map upgrades will allow me to keep it for many years to come.
