Pros: Does the job!

Cons: Frozen screen on first day! Three out of five devices stopped working on the first day. Use the reboot pinhole to restart. No problems whatsoever since.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent for price

Pros: Touch screen is responsive, has android market, battery seems to last pretty long.

Cons: Picture doesn't look as sharp as more expensive tablet (get what you pay for).
Could not create an account for android market, therefore I couldn't access android market. When I try to sign into android market, keeps giving me an error saying "can not get a reliable connection" or something like that, however all my other devices connects just fine to my wifi. I got a few apps downloaded from my pc on the net and transfered them to this and installed them that way. Just a hassle.

Other Thoughts: Emailed android market support and still couldn't get it to work.

4 out of 5 eggsTotally Blown Away!

Pros: Great tablet for the money; Netflix looks great, streams video (with the aid of app) flawlessly from my NAS (Network Attached Storage), eBooks look great and are easily readable.

Cons: Keyboard could be a bit more resposive (by comparison to my phone), and the camera isn't very good. Also the speaker location isn't very optimal; when holding it in landscape view the hands tend to cover them, but as a personal media device I tend to use the ear buds more often than not so its not really a big deal.

Other Thoughts: We purchased 2 of these for our children as xmas gifts with the idea of geting something a bit more "high end" for me and my wife once we got the kids taken care of. Once they arrive, of course, we had to check them out first...now we have 4 of them in the house; we were so imprssed that we decided to get the same ones for ourselves.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible little machine

Pros: Solidly built, small enough to hold in my hand comfortably, roughly the size of a standard, thin, trade paperback. Has a bit of heft to it without being heavy (feels substantial, not cheap). Touch responsiveness is as good as if not better than many other tablets on the market. I have never had it freeze on me or power down unexpectedly. Some apps do force close, but that is the fault of the app, not the device. Picture quality is crisp and sharp on Netflix and about as good as you are going to get on youtube or other online video sites. The device specifications say it has an average battery life of 4 hours... I have had mine consistently last between 7-8 hours of continuous to near continuous use. Its an Android device, so of course when you buy anything on the market it is going to be available on your other Android devices as well.

Cons: The three control buttons at the bottom of the device are not backlit... would be nice if they were but it isn't a deal breaker by any stretch

4 out of 5 eggs7' filemate tablet

Pros: It worked great when I first got it on 12/23/2011

Cons: Was playing a game an it froze up,so I turned it off and it will not come back on!!!!!!!!!!! grrrrrrr

Other Thoughts: Why make something that costs so much just to let it only work a few days,, not fare at all!!!!

5 out of 5 eggsWintec Filemate Identity

Pros: Fast on screen action, no freezes yet, cpu seems very snappy, Android Market access, Froyo 2.2 android, light, nice design, reasonable speaker, reasonable battery life

Cons: For the price, Newegg had an awesome deal right before Christmas, I can't think of any Con

Other Thoughts: This is a great tablet for the money. It is 7inch, so not really possible to compare to other larger tablets. If you are looking for a medium size tablet and want a full Android experience with Froyo, this is a fantastic Value.

Many people ask how it compares to an iPad1 wifi. My answer is this tablet takes you 90% of the way for $225 less. The last 10% is cool, but not necessarily worth another 100% more to everyone.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks pretty well actually -- I like it.

Pros: HDMI output works great with TVs. I can DL a video and show it to the family. Availability of APPs is pretty good. Will be replacing most of the built on ones for functions I use. I can read the text on it compared to the tiny MP3 players. SD Card makes it easy to add/change content. No monthly fee for net access (in WiFi enabled spots).

Cons: Black buttons on a Black background -- hard to see and hard to keep track of with different orientations. The camera is not that great compared to others I have seen on phones. Some/most of the built in apps are very low functioning. Email (not gmail) retrieves messages but won't show them to me. GPS is SLOWWW (but they tell you it will be).

Other Thoughts: I wanted this for an appt book and MP3/audiobook player and YouTube video sharer. With Ambling Books I can listen and bookmark. Stars (4) are for price/performance. Compared to an iPad it would not be, but it cost a lot less too.

I wish there was a gesture for "back" instead of a button. This may be my ignorance or an android thing. Too bad I can't "right click" because it can't tell left hand fingers from right hand fingers. ;)

I had a Galazy Tab 7" a few months ago and returned it. It didn't do enough for the money and monthly access fee. This was the same price and NO contract (and no cell connection). If it continues to function (no hardware problems) I will be very happy with it.

5 out of 5 eggsFREE APPS FREE APPS FREE APS

Pros: its an android, therefore it has the android market preinstalled and it is exactly what i wanted and expected. after looking at a few archos tablets that do not come with the market preinstalled i decided go with this instead. Buying as gift for e-reader/portable video/internet device for my girlfriend and its 100% capable. for those who do not understand why android market is important might i mention Free apps? what apps? most of them. it has literally no junk preinstalled so you don't have to go through the trouble of rooting and so on, if you know what i am talking about cool. if you don't just understand that perinstalled software is often cumbersome and hell to get rid of.
got this on sale for $189 if its more then 200 i would suggest going with the galaxy tab maybe instead or not.
also, it comes with other stuff inside the box! wow! screen wiper... mmmmmm <3

Cons: has a mediocre camera but if your buying a tablet for a camera you have problems(no egg reduction for that). does not actually have a micro SD card slot, it has a sd card slot so you will need a converter(again no egg reduction, boo hoo). if you are buying this expecting an ipad you will be disappointed, but as an alternative say a kindle fire, or a Samsung galaxy tab, archos internet tab [inset tablet around 200$] ect. it Will deliver. kinda chunky, would not use this as an mp3 player on the go, but srsly if your buying this you probably have smart phone so... deal with it.

Other Thoughts: when you start it up it says its a phone. cool. i don't really care what it thinks it is. you could give a concussion with hunk of tech, its pretty danm solid.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quick little machine. Browses flawlessly. will do you tube type videos without issue. android app store apps and side loaded apps work great, Haven't found an app that doesn't work!! adding video and audio is a snap, and divx plays great on here. Haven't tried the hdmi to TV ...yet

Camera works very well in both still and video mode.

For $200.00 or less you can not go wrong with this little unit. Don't let the off brand scare you away. Quality unit made in Korea NOT in China.

It is not an ipad, but that is not really a bad thing now is it. This unit runs better than an i pad 1( haven't tried an ipad 2 yet) it is faster lighter and easier to navigate. Touchscreen is superb.

For the price you have a disposable take anywhere with you tablet you that won't break the bank.

Cons: None Period.

Other Thoughts: Nothing else to say but buy it, get it, love it!!
