Great deal (when I bought it)

Pros: Extremely User friendly interface, Very crisp clear screen, Easily removable suction device in case you need to park in a bad neighborhood. Easy to understand directions with audio guidance. Recalculates routes very well. When I bought it it cost me $80 must've been half price or something, incredible deal. For that price you can't beat it but for $160 I'd look somewhere else.

Cons: Old maps maps seem to be 3+ years old, For me this doesn't make any difference because I'm from New York city so the roads rarely change. Another thing it seems to be easily confused by altitude, for example if you go under an overpass it sometimes thinks you are on the overpass above you and recalculates route incorrectly. This is fine though because as soon as you drive out from under it it recalculates again and you're back where you were. One last con, my biggest one is that my jeep is a little bit of a rough ride and when I hit a bump the system seems to fly out of the holder :D. It might just be that I did something wrong or didn't put it in right though.

Other Thoughts: Like I said, for $80 can't be beat but for $160 you can get a much better up to date system. Another note I do a lot of fishing and it's really good to save spots/routes for this purpose. It can even be used in the bay to save coords of points on the water. This is neat, unfortunately however it's not designed to give you directions on a boat but if you zoom out it still shows the saved points on the map and the direction you're going. Awesome deal great system.

Pros: Sturdy, simple, easy to set up and use. Aquires signal fast. Street name font size is easy to read. Spoken turn directions and distance but does not speak street names. Does speak highway numbers. Seems accurate within 10-20 feet.

Cons: Doesn't speak street names. Doesn't Zoom out as far as I'd like to give a big enough overview of trip. Maximum zoom out doesn'y encompass the whole state of michigan for example. The speaker is a little small, underpowered, have to turn it to max to hear well at highway speeds, then it has some distortion.

Other Thoughts: Requests you make u-turns, but playing with the direction preferences seemed to eliminate that annoying little quirk. Recalculates routes quickly. Just ordered 9 more of these for a fleet of vehicles. Will let you know how many if any lemons show up in a bulk order.

Pros: This unit works very well out of the box. Easy to put in and navigate addresses.

Cons: Maps are not current and not currentlyupdateable.

Other Thoughts: This is a very good buy for the money. It will meet most travel needs
