Pros: Nice GPS unit. IQ routes are very good. This unit quickly picks up the sattalites. Tons of POI's.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Downloaded TomTom Home software from the web before connecting the unit to the computer. No issues with getting the Map updates.

Pros: Bought this as a black Friday sale for my parents for Christmas. They know nothing about technology. They love this GPS. They had no problems learning how to do it on their own. Is great as I have not seen it for 60 bucks since that sale. I would recommend this product

Pros: Easy to set up, worked right out of the box and got me home from school (45 minute drive with lots of side-roads, rotaries, etc.). Is WAAAAAY more accurate than the GPS on my AT&T phone, and updates super fast. So for all of you out there that miss a turn and find your GPS unit taking forever to reroute, this is for you.
It also is very accurate with distinguishing forks in the road from actual turns. Lots of options for color schemes, etc.
Cons: Took about three hours to download and install updated maps, software, and gps software. So if you're planning to do this, definitely give it some time. There aren't a lot of cool free voices to add to it, although I'm trying out the Cylon one;) You can purchase voices for nominal fees, but I don't care enough to do it just yet. Also, if you plan on updating your maps often, the yearly fee is about $52. I think it lets you have one or two for free.
3D display isn't very high-quality, so I tend to use the 2D display.
Other Thoughts: Cig adapter isn't coiled, which is a plus...as the coiled ones are a nuisance! It suctioned to my windshield with no issues, the voice is nice and loud.
I bought this as a more cost-effective option than staying with my blackberry curve GPS from AT&T. This is cheaper than paying a year's subscription to a really lousy GPS system.
The screen is bigger than my phone's, which is plenty big enough. I drive a small car and don't like too much stuff distracting me by the windshield, so this is fine. Color of the unit is nice and dark which matches my interior, and doesn't look cheap like my gf's less-expensive TomTom;-)

I Don't like returning new products

Pros: Looks nice
Cons: Tried doing the new map gaurantee. Took forever to to download, then started the install, which also took forever. It was almost done with install and then hung up. Restarted the tomtom received a error message saying no maps. Called tomtom for assistance they had me remove the new map that I could not access. Tried downloading map again, it would not install. Called tomtom again, repeated the same steps, and again same thing. they had me try one more time then decided it had a bad harddrive. Now rma'ing it to tomtom.
Other Thoughts: This should be interesting. really don't like to get junk, when I pay for new.
PS. this tomtom 140 had been sitting in neweggs inventory since last year. I wonder why?
