Bad experience with this GPS

Pros: Physical appearance.

Cons: The battery is not holding charge. While driving, the car on the GPS displays shows being off road. (Like I am driving on grass instead of the freeway I am on) Communication with the satellite is unacceptably slow. Bluetuth has static.

Pros: Dont know yet.

Cons: Well it doesnt work.

Other Thoughts: Got the unit out of the box and about 10 minutes later it died out on my while it was charging and it no longer turns on again. I only give it one egg only because i havent had a chance to test it out yet.

Pros: I didnt buy it from newegg because my good friend runs a Speed Shop. i got it for 10 bux cheaper with my discount. but onto the important stuff. This is one great GPS people. Last years model was terrible and let me tell you this, Alpine really picked up their game with this GPS. I rate this GPS higher than any model T-T and right up there with the top of the line G-Man. The ease of use, gets a killer signal and every time I test it around town and locally here its spot right on. I truly believe that even a 1st time GPS user could hook this baby up and have his or her route planned within 2 minutes tops. I never used and easier GPS than this one folks. Well worth the price and then some. And the best part about it.....you can buy all the other GPS's at w-mart....but not this one....wonder why???? This is true Quality to anyone who buys it.
