A large, crisp IPS display with responsive Multi-Touch control, a high-performing dual-core processor, and endless amount of contents, the Amazon Kindle Fire revolutionizes your mobile digital life – your reading, gameplay, movie watching and music come together at your hand - all in a design that’s thin and light to take anywhere.
Awesome for what it is.
Pros: It does not do the device justice to leave it stock. This device coupled with one of the many Jellybean rom's really brings it to life.
Cons: The lack of Bluetooth and external storage leaves more to be desired.

Pros: Easy to read. No real lag when launching apps. Idiot proof. At least till they build a better idiot
Cons: No sd slot.
Other Thoughts: Install antivirus this will help catch adware.

Pros: Just a heads up. This is not the second generation 8GB Kindle Fire with one GB of RAM and the newer 4.0 operating system. I repeat... not. The 2nd gen one goes for not much more new. It is also not the Kindle Fire HD. That doesn't go for much more than the 2nd generation one. This is an older first gen model that might not be worth the $35 savings over the newer, faster, and more streamlined $159 version.
Cons: It's old. It might be able to be flashed and updated. I haven't done the research on that.
Other Thoughts: Most reviews give the nod to the Nexus 7 for everyday use unless you are a Prime member.
