3 out of 5 eggsGreat for a CHEAP tablet but...

Pros: At $40 this is a great tablet for reading books.

Cons: Unfortunately mine stopped being able to connect via wi-fi 4 moths after I bought it. It still works great for the books I have on it but it would cost me more to get it repaired than its worth

1 out of 5 eggsEven at $45 it is still a waste of money!

Pros: None

Cons: This is very cheaply made! The touch screen is unsensitive to touch so you have to push firmly for it to register a swipe. It was slow compared to better tables and the speakers were poor quality. It also heated up to a noticeable temperature when being charged which takes quite a bit. The thing was also unsupported. No firmware updates, no google play, you couldn't even root it!

To conclude my experience the thing, it broke on me in the first week. The casing was lose so I tried to press on it to clip the two faces back together thinking this would help my touch sensitivity problem and the screen just cracked. Didn't even feel like asking for a replacement since thats the only thing Newegg would give me because if they allowed refunds I would have gotten it the first day I got it.

Other Thoughts: They stopped selling these and they should just take them all out the market. Clearly will never buy any sylvania tablets as this one showed they have no idea how to make a tablet. The quality even makes me consider if sylvania is a reputable company all together throwing out horrible products like this!

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: cheap

Cons: wifi on this is horrible. If you just want something to read books, you could do worse at $40, but with such a horrible wifi receiver it can't do much else.

4 out of 5 eggsSylvania Sytab7MX

Pros: Refurbished, but looks like a brand new unit, easy to set up and get running. Everything seems to be working as promised.

Cons: No stylus,

Other Thoughts: I give this unit a 4 out of five only because of the resistive screen otherwise great

1 out of 5 eggsIf I could rate it 0 eggs, I would

Pros: It's small

Cons: This device is unusable. It's constantly crashing, multiple errors as soon as I turn it on, and it's very difficult to physically use. You must press down unusually hard in order to get it to respond at all to your touch, and then the system hangs so much, it usually performs multiple undesired actions before either crashing or causing so much frustration you just turn the thing off.

It's a custom ROM of Android with no access to the Play Store. It has it's own market called SlideMe Market. Only a couple actual games on there, most seem completely custom to this device/OS. I spent enough time on this device to know if I spent any more or kept it, I would be faced with an enormous headache.

Not worth $10, let alone the $40 they charge for it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth it by far

Pros: Its a tablet. It freaking runs like a boss. Its cheap.

Cons: Froyo, that is all. Though with a little work this tablet is more than capable of running Ice Cream Sandwhich.

Other Thoughts: Dont let the tagline of refurbished get ya. If your still in doubts get the 2 year warranty i mean 40 bucks plus 10 for piece of mind is still a great deal on this tablet. Actually i recommend this tablet over new ones that are comparable in the 100 dollar range. This one has actually been tested once and then fixed.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Its a tablet for $40 and it works. I surf the web, play games, stream tv shows and movies off my pc. For sure it's not an Ipad, but it costs a tenth the price.

Cons: The wireless is a little bit flakey - it will drop the connection if you stop using the tablet.
Can't get Google play store to work but I can get around that.
Battery seems a little weak.
Need stylus/fingernail to use screen.

Other Thoughts: Perfect tablet for a kid.

1 out of 5 eggspiece of garbage

Pros: nothing it's the worst tablet

Cons: the jack port is loose and will not charge. u have to wiggle the wire to get it to charge. you also have to put the tablet on top of the router in order for to find the wifi and you can not leave the room or you will lose the wifi. i haven't gotten any further to test it, i am give up and sending it back

Other Thoughts: find something else and don't waste $45 on this.
