5 out of 5 eggsUnsure at first, but learned to love it!

Pros: I was unsure at first and almost returned it, but now I'm glad I kept it. Thin, Light weight, portability, plays all sorts of video and movie files streamed from my other PC's smooth via app ES Explorer (no need to use onboard memory for this). Plays most games just fine and smooth. We have iPad3 and Kids always ask to use and play with this tablet just as often.

Cons: It Has single core CPU; speed is good until you try to multi task too much, I.E. Install and app while doing other things can make it temporarily crawl. Screen resolution is not great for web browsing with lots of reading, but OK for quick things, like checking weather. Included web browser was slow; I installed dolphin and chrome web browser and they work 100X better. Does not have Google play, but have been able to do without, mainly by using Amz app store and I know some people have managed to install Google Play, so if I really need it, I will spend the time and figure it out.

Other Thoughts: There are probably features that I have not used yet. Great value for the price. For me, the pros outweigh the cons and I'm happy with this tablet. If the kids every break it, I'm not as afraid as I am with iPad.

4 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly good value!

Pros: I paid $85 for this on sale and for that am really quite pleased. The tablet came with a set of headphones and several cables, as well as a wall charger. It started right up out of the box and immediately updated ICS to the latest revision. There were very few aps installed to start (GetJar, Am*z*n's ap store, youtube, etc.). The box included a pretty good paper manual but I didn't need it; the tablet works exactly like my Asus Transformer in a smaller package, for the most part.

Seems solidly built, lots of accessories included, works as expected, great value at price point <$100. Seems to run everything I've tried as expected. Full screen HD video from yourtube runs without a hitch. Audio is loud and clear. Display is really good for something in this price point-- again, not up to my Asus Transformer but for 1/5th the cost having a second tablet in the smaller size will be quite useful.

Cons: App store a bit flaky (getjar), case is somewhat fragile, wi-fi reception is weak. Installing aps is a challenge. The GetJar utility that came installed really doesn't work; it will find aps but hangs on the download at 0% every time. The am*z*n ap store works fine though; I installed Temple Run and several other aps to test and all worked great. Haven't tried GooglePlay yet but will go that route if possible since I'm used to it from the Transformer. In any case everything I've installed works fine, it's just more cumbersome to install than expected.

Other Thoughts: Two issues: wi-fi reception is pretty weak and the app store process doesn't work as expected. Wi-fi is much worse than any of the phones, laptops, or tablets we own; it shows about 80% sitting right next to our router and drops out 100' or so away. Tablet does not perform well with weak or slow connections; 1/5mpbs connection was basically unusable in fact, but our 20+ mbps at home is OK.

With only one user-facing camera it's OK for skype but useless for taking pictures (though it works OK).

If these go on sale <$100 again I will likely buy several for my office mates. It's almost a disposable unit at this price point but as long as it keeps working like it did out of the box I will be delighted.

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth the price

Pros: Cheap, seamed to be reasonable quality, decent video.

Cons: The ac charger did not work. Device only connected to the modem when it was 10' from it and then would not download anything. Buggy touch screen, needed varying amounts of touch to activate. The whole system was sluggish.

Other Thoughts: As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. I returned this (which cost me $15) and bought a Samsung galaxy. The Samsung ran circles around this tablet.
