BobC 3/26/2012 6:24:23 AM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 4/5	Rating: 3/5 Pros: Does everything I want in an e-reader. I didn't want wi-fi, and didn't need a touch screen. This fit the bill at a great price. I find the screen easy on the eyes, it's fast at turning pages, loading books, etc. Cons: Tech support is basically non existent. After the first charge, the battery would lose power even when shut off. Sent it back to the company, at my expense, and was told there was nothing wrong with it. They kept it an extra week, supposedly fully charged, and I was told it kept the charge. When I got it back from the company and checked the battery, it was down to just over 5 hours left. I have sent 3 e-mails to them since December 28, 2011 and none have been answered. I am left with a feeling that I was made a fool by tech support. Did you find this review helpful? N/A 9/22/2011 9:25:26 AM Tech Level: 3/5 Ownership: 3/5	Rating: 3/5aluratek libre AEBK07FS Pros: very good video player and mp3 player capibilities. Cons: PDF's are hit and miss. Reading in dark not great. I wish the background font could be changed to black with white text. Ive tried this and it goes all black where you cant see the text. Close as i can get it green/blue background with black text but the top part and bottom part still remain white background which is annoying in the dark. I loaded up a dummies book and it was extremely slow in responding, not sure why that was. Does not recognize Avi format. can be slow to turn pages Other Thoughts: I have not tried it in the sunshine because im usually inside. The SD card sometimes says it was ejected even though i didnt even touch it except for rotating the screen.
