Pros: None

Cons: To be fair, it's noted as a "scratch and dent" item buried in the description. However, even despite the many scratches, the screen replacement was poorly done with significant debris and sand behind the new screen.

Other Thoughts: I tried two of them, and returned both.

2 out of 5 eggsDon't buy a tablet from NE

Pros: It works and it's an Apple product - 2 stars.

Cons: This is the second one, I had to return the first one because the "refurbished" condition was unacceptable. This one isn't much better, It has a half-circle scratch across the face of it and a ding in the case near the power port. The overall condition out of the box is 'Fair' at best so know what you are getting into. This is NOT factory refurbished by Apple; it is some cut-rate 3rd party.

Other Thoughts: The Good:
We got a 32gb iPad2 with cell radio for under 200 bucks (minus shipping).

The Bad:
The whole transaction has taken a month after returning the first one and really on the fence about returning this one too.

The Ugly:
I probably could have done better buying a "used" one. I've spent 20 bucks in shipping and would be another 15 to send it back to them, again - sigh.

If I had the whole thing to do over again, I would have just ponied up the extra 60 bucks and bought an Apple-refurbished iPad2 from Ama.zon. This is the 3rd bad tablet purchase I have had from NE and I'm done. If you haven't already bought one of these, find another vendor that sells genuine Apple factory refurbished products.

Interesting that it costs 5 bucks to have it sent out 2-day shipping and NE's own UPS ground return label is charged out at 15 bucks.

Pros: this ipad works really well and refurbished is ok in some respect.

Cons: could have done a better job at closing it backup some areas are loose so i have to use a cover to cover those areas up.

Pros: Worked great and would have been fine except for the glass not being secure to the unit at the top.

Cons: Glass not secure to the top of the unit.

Other Thoughts: I agree with the previous reviewer, this appears to be bad refurb job on these. I hope the next one is better. sending these back runs about 14 bucks a pop.

Pros: None

Cons: Poor quality refurb job. The screen had a lot of debris and dirt behind the glass, that would block out the image (think sand). And the aluminum case looked like it had been dropped from 10 ft and attacked with an angle grinder. All in all, not good, so returning it ASAP. Let's hope the next one is a little better.
