The process is just wat I would have expected: go into setup mode, access through web browser, enter wi-fi credentials, all done! So far, i have used the air play functionality with my wife's ipod (2nd gen), my ipod (4th gen), my desktop, and from my desktop while being controlled through Apples Remote app. Did you find this review helpful? Cons: Flimsy connector Software works ok but limited functionality Other Thoughts: Got it on newegg special. It is great sound for what it is. I only use it for internet radio playbacks and the sound quality is nice for what it is. I'm a big fan of full range speakers and both bass and treble sound great coming from this unit. Airplay option rocks! Haven't had any problems with the airplay. Have connected from itunes PC, Macbook pro, ipad2 and iphone. All worked well and easy setup. Cons: Overall aesthetics keeps me from having it in the living room. Looks awkward without a device on it. But sound makes up for this. -1 egg for awkward design. Other Thoughts: Great overall unit. This is normally out of my price range, but if you can pick it up on sale... I'm sure the music it plays will be well worth it. Airplay is a bonus. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Also airplay availability was sporadic and the connection dropped frequently. Customer support from JBL did not respond to multiple emails. The JBL support page is minimal. Other Thoughts: This is a decent dock for a wired connection but for the price, airplay is expected to work and the product is disappointing.
