Pros: I received this "case" (if you could call it a case) with my iPad 3 purchase from Newegg. It's made with what Incipio describes as "vegan" leather. The word "leather" has NOTHING to do with whatever materials are actually used in this case and using the word leather can only be meant to confuse a consumer. More to the point though, and other than possibly protecting your iPad during transportation, this case can actually be a DANGER to your iPad. Unless the "Lexington Hard Shell Folio Case" I received is defective, or missing parts, my iPad slides right out of this "case" and its design appears to have no way of securing the iPad to the case. Maybe they want me to supply MY OWN RUBBERBAND, but, since there are NO instructions, I couldn't say. So in conclusion, even as a free gift, this "folio case" is pretty well worthless, other than for just storage when you're not actually using your iPad.

Cons: You would have to use some kind of rubber band to keep your iPad from sluding out., Made of cardboard covered with some kind of plastic that they call "vegan leather"

Other Thoughts: The iPad works great, so I guess I'll have to buy a "real case" to protect it.
