Pros: This product is made well, and of sturdy material. I honestly thought I was going to get something a little cheaper built than what we got. It realy does make your ipad just as good as a real laptop; good thing too since the ipads costs like a real laptop.

Cons: It doesn't read your mind and type for you.

Other Thoughts: Consider it a win if you get it for less than $99

Pros: The keyboard works great and the battery life for the keyboard seems to be excellent. It has an automatic shut off feature that helps you out if you forget to shut it off. Typing is a bit clumsy, especially the shift key on the right side that tends to have you hitting adjacent keys... That can cause some unintended full line deletes if you're not careful... But that's what the "command Z" (undo) is for. I really like the fact that the keyboard is magnetic and easily removable. I take it out when I don't need it and it makes the case more user friendly for angled viewing. Overall it's much more efficient for the "touch" typist than the touch screen is. I just need that tactile feel when typing and this keyboard provides that.

Cons: I can tell that this case was originally designed for the iPad 2. The iPad 3 really does not fit all that well and the camera hole is off by as much as 1/8". That's enough to cause problems if you actually want to use the camera. Heat has also been a problem (just once) when I had the ipad (black) in the sun while keeping score at my son's ball game last weekend. I had to pull the iPad out and let it cool off for a few minutes before it would turn back on. This is an inherent problem with any padded case like this. The iPad 3 obviously generated enough heat with the sun that it became a problem. The white iPad is probably less susceptible to this problem but it's something to keep in mind when looking for a case. I will likely get a different case for summer ball games... One that lets the unit ventilate better than this one does. The iPad did cool off very quickly once I pulled it out and let it get some air... I was back in business within 3 minutes.

Other Thoughts: I think Kensington needs to do something about the camera hole and make it a bit bigger so it doesn't interfere with the iPad 3. The iPad 3 is enough thicker than the second gen model that it doesn't fit as well as it should. They're advertising that the case works for both, which it does but really it's not a great fit for the new gen iPad. The case does the job but you certainly wouldn't want to drop it. The edge of the iPad is exposed enough that it would damage it if it were to be dropped on the edge.

Pros: Worked like a champ until it stopped charging. I like to use my iPad for note taking while conducting digital forensics. The keyboard make it so much easier. When it stopped working I called Kensington directly. Within a few minutes I had a new one on the way. I was very pleased with the support I got from Kensington.

Cons: Lets face it. As an IT expert I know that hardware can go bad at anytime. it happens so I really can' say it's a con if it does not happen all the time.

Other Thoughts: Keep up the great customer service.

Pros: Nice keyboard, good response, easy to type on.

Cons: Product's features misrepresented on box, specifically the auto wake/sleep function. Box says it has that feature. Product didn't auto wake/sleep. I contacted manufacture and their only comment to me was sorry that model doesn't have that feature. This was the last contact I got from them 6 days ago, despite my attempts to get in contact with them.

Not counting the "missing" feature, the case/keyboard itself isn't bad. The velcro that holds the ipad to the back of case doesn't grip to well after a time or two of pulling it.

Pros: i never personally used this product, i justed checked back with the person i got this for and they loved it. since she is a nurse and needed a keyboard it worked great for her and it is still working.
