This thing is outstanding for the price, compared to the other 360's or the PS3. The premium is a little less and doesn't ...

4 out of 5 eggsConsole

Pros: It is an older model (2007) and it has an older Hitachi drive which is super easy to flash, if thats your thing. It is also old enough (hardware and dashboard) to do the jtag exploit. Anyone looking for an older machine I think this part# is what you are looking for.

Cons: Older motherboard chipset, that is not as resistent to the RROD. It is what it is. Could last 10 years or 10 minutes.

Other Thoughts: I got a hitachi elite made in 07?? I am not sure where they found this thing but it sure does look new. I am going to call MS and verify it is not a refurb...I mean newegg is usually very good about this, and I trust them, but it's just too old not to check out.

Pros: um there r none

Cons: the list is to long.. but the big one is tey break to much

Other Thoughts: i have had three xbox360's fail. they lasted me 2-3 months each. I hve finally gotten microsoft to just give me my money back. I ownd all 3 current gen systems and my ps3 and wii dominate the xbox. If u wanna game and not have down time get the ps3

5 out of 5 eggsGreat System

Pros: The best thing about this system is the fact that it's got 120 gb hard drive, an HDMI cable, and the sharp looking black case. It is also definitely a lot quieter than my other friends 360 models. A great bargain and my opinion you get your moneys worth over the PS3 when you buy this system due to more support and games.

Cons: The only drawback about this system is the wireless. If you want to go wireless you're forced to buy the xbox360 wireless adapter for $85 but other than that it's about it.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's $50 a YEAR you NUB

Pros: Best console out at the moment since it has a bigger game library.

Cons: Wasn't free.

Other Thoughts: $50 a year is nothing compared to other forms of entertainment.

4 out of 5 eggs3 Rings RMA back

Pros: Kid still loves it. sent it back to rma for 3rings and they got it back to me in 3 weeks. It looks like its new,, so I guess they get 5 stars for that.

Cons: LIke I said it gets way to hot. I dont know if the new smaller cpu/gpu will fix it. I guess only time will tell,, It took a year for this one to go bad.

Other Thoughts: Ok, was miffed that it went bad but I dont think you can beat Ms for the fast rma service.

2 out of 5 eggs3 rings

Pros: Kid loves it! This is a update from a early post

Cons: It has a 3 rings of death problem that they dont want to fix. It just gets way to hot if you play it for over 3 or 4 hours. Dont you even think about moving it around while it has a dvd game in it or it will eat it up.! (big round ring on the disk)

Other Thoughts: Kids towel trick worked for about one week,, then the 3 rings came back. I got a second xbox so I can keep one good one and have the second one being fixed via RMA,, lol stupid fix but it works. (dont know if the new one has the new smaller chip or not).

2 out of 5 eggs3rings of death

Pros: Works great, kid loved it for a year and two months before he got the 3rings of death.

Cons: Its runs way to hot. They need to come out with a new xbox that will move the gpu/cpu to a cooler place asap!

Other Thoughts: Lets face it, its a great game toy. But why dont they fix the 3 rings of death problem? Kid put it in a towel for 20 min to let the tin remelt on the gpu. Fixed it for now.
Just got the box to send it back to them for a rma,, but now its working. (for now)

5 out of 5 eggsIt is an X-box 360

Pros: Have had this for a while now and still kicking.

Cons: Runs hot. Bought the fan system for this to keep it from flowing liquid metal.

1 out of 5 eggstk

Pros: good unit if it was a functional and usable one not a completely dead one which it will turn out to be at any given time.

Cons: I have never had or seen a consumer electronic product or game console for that matter that would fail and not only fail but completely fail (red ring of death) in such a massive and large scale as the Xbox 360 (probably 9.9 out 10). I bought mine imagining that it would not happen to me (it could not be so bad, besides mine was one of the latest models with new motherboards, etc), believe or not it completely failed in a given instant out of the blue for no good reason whatsoever. I wonder if Microsoft really worry about their reputation, because that thing called Xbox360 is the biggest disgrace and biggest joke that ever happened not only in the game console industry, but also in the consumer electronic industries as whole. Believe me if you buy that console (xbox360) it will completely fail at any give moment, it will be much sooner than what you may ever imagine.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat system, but it should actually be cheaper than a PS3 and it is not as good as PS3.

Pros: Xbox Live, great exclusives, 120 GB HDD, comfortable controller, extended warranty, black finish, great graphics, it comes with an HDMI cable, quieter than early Xbox 360 models but not as quiet as my PS3.

Cons: Noisy DVD drive, heats up pretty easily because it is a Falcon model, scratches discs even if you shake the console a little bit, no Blu-Ray, no flash card readers, Wi-Fi is not built-in, no HD movie playback, Xbox Live requires paid subscription.

Other Thoughts: I like this system and it is my favorite 360 model, but it is missing a lot and it should be cheaper than a PS3 because of all the features this model does not have that the PS3 has. They DVD drive is noisy and it scratches disc. The hard drive is huge and enough for me. Games are fun especially with Achievements and Xbox Live. Social networking is fun and there are a lot of people who have GamerTags. The reliability is a big question mark so I will see if it can last me years. I think this system is great for you if you want to download movies, TV shows, and game saves, but it does not come close to the PS3.
