Insane Shipping
- Pros: Ordered it at Noon Tuesday, with 3 day shipping for 12$, it was a on my doorstep when I got home the next day. Insane.
New HDMI Port allows me to use the Xbox HDMI cable and an adapter to convert it to DVI-D so I can use it on my Samsung 30 Inch Widescreen Monitor. Halo 3 is the best looking console game I've seen yet, it has the same quality as similar games played on my computer.
- Cons: I can't play on a 2560X1600 resolution, the best I can get is 1920X1080, nothing wrong with that since the Xbox graphics card couldn't handle that many pixels at once.
Finally!!!
- Pros: Well I bought mine a week ago (april 16th) ang got a Falcon one! Mine was manufactured in January of this year. For those who don't know what "falcon" means. Basically it's a newer version of 360 with new 65nm chips and hdmi port. 65nm is a big plus - eats less energy and produces less heat. Also from what I understood falcons have an extra fan inside. So all of the above means that chances of getting RRoD are significantly decreased.
I got myself HD AV to VGA cable and playing on my NEC 2070 at 1280*1024. Thanks to the guys at NEC for making 2 inputs and for making select 1-2 button. Too bad xbox doesn't support 1600*1200 , although 1280*1024 still looks great and I'm actually surprized, because it's not a native res.
- Cons: None really.
- Other Thoughts: People have said that it's loud - well it is, BUT only if you compare it to modern super silent PC's. Yes fan in my 360 is noticeable when I play with no sound and everything else is silent, but it's still not bad and not annoying (well unless your 360 is right next to your bed and someone is playing at night). If you play with sound, even if it's not that loud - you wont notice fans.

fail
- Pros: Only console with decent new games.
- Cons: Hardware fail rate. I have replaced the 360 twice in the past year due to hardware failures. First purchase of brand new 360, failed to work out of box and the wired headset had no male jack to plug into the controller.
My HDMI port has stopped working and comes and goes on my 3rd xbox 360. The component works just fine though. Wired headset stopped working.
- Other Thoughts: Not only is the console hardware prone to failure, but the addon hardware you purchase separately are just as horrible. The headset, both wireless and wired I have replaced at least once.
- Pros: Umm.. it's a game console. what's there to say?
- Cons: Now my son never comes out of his room...or maybe that's a pro.. idk
- Pros: works great, nothing wrong. i have been playing it for about 8 hours and no lag didn't even get that hot!
- Cons: none what soever.
- Other Thoughts: some people on youtube said that there packing was awful but mine was packed very well. i guess the people just got very unlucky.
