Powered by a 3.2GHz triple-core IBM PowerPC CPU with a custom ATIC graphics processor loaded with 10MB of embedded DRAM, it is capable of rendering 500 million triangles per second. You'll not only get great-looking games in standard definition, but you'll get smooth graphics and high frame-rate at HDTV resolutions of 1080i. The 16:9 aspect ratio support and multi-channel audio mean that your gaming experience will be cinematically epic.
Up to four players can connect wirelessly and three USB 2.0 slots allow users to connect USB-based controllers or to stream digital media from MP3 players, digital cameras or Windows XP-based PC's. Take advantage of the extensive library of games written for the Xbox 360, as well as the earlier Xbox.
Connect with the push of a button to Xbox Live, where players can enter Microsoft's online community and can play with and against gamers from around the world. The included headset lets gamers chat with other Xbox Live members as well as talk trash during gaming sessions. Expansions, maps and exclusive downloadable content are also available via Xbox Live.

- Pros: I added a used 20GB hard drive for under $50.00 and everything was easy to configure/setup. I have had zero problems with overheating or any issue for that matter. The platform is top notch on variety and the online community is unbeatable.
- Cons: It's harder to go to work in the morning after staying up late every night playing games.
- Other Thoughts: The arcade version doesn't come with an HD cable. I bought a 3rd party one that does Wii, Playstation, and X-box 360 for $29.99 at Radio Shack.
Falcon, Hitachi - Good and Bad
- Pros: I've wanted to get a 360 for a very long time, and I finally dropped the bills to pick one up. Reason being so is I have many friends that play on XBOX Live, possibly the best online console gaming ever. The 360 itself is a very powerful system given that its 2 years old at this point, and it has played just ever since I got it. I ended up with a 65nm Falcon, which should hopefully reduce my chances of getting a RRoD. Oh, and the Live Arcade games that ship with the console are pretty fun, but interestingly enough, the copy I got was a PAL disc.
- Cons: Heat. Even with the shrinked 65nm CPU, the thing still pushes out hot air. But my biggest upset is that I was stuck with an older Hitachi drive, which means the system is loud as heck. Most of the newer systems ship with the quiter BenQ drives, but unfortunately I was stuck with an older one, meaning my system is A LOT louder than I hoped it to be.
- Other Thoughts: Even though the label on the box said 203w (old Zephyr board), the power brick that came with the 360 was a 175w, meaning that it is a Falcon 65nm board. I'm very disapointed that I got a Hitachi drive, as I was looking forward to a quiet box compared to my friends 2 year old 360 Premium. From what I've heard, Microsoft is pulling the Hitachi's out of old RRoD'd models and popping them in with the new Falcon boards. Oh well, its only an inconvience, given that the stories of the Hitachi drives killing discs isn't true...

Great System
- Pros: Very good developer support, even more support than the PS3 at the moment. Graphics even sometimes surpass that of the PS3. Wireless controllers are built unlike any other, they got a nice weight and feel to them. Also, Xbox LIVE is simply amazing, it's always somebody to play with and most people have a headset. 1 year standard warranty, and a 3 year RROD warranty.
- Cons: Obviously the RROD (Red Ring of Death) is the only main gripe I have with the 360, although I hear it has been contained and pretty much reduced due to the arcades being designed slightly different than the older 360's which carried the botched hardware design.
- Other Thoughts: To the guy(s) making the comments about buying a PS3, I laugh at you. I just sold my 40GB PS3 and bought 360 games with the money, best decision of my life. The Ps3 virtually has nothing interesting other than MGS4, everything else is going through delay after delay. So get a 360, you'll never look back!
- Pros: The 360 has a very nice GUI that is very user friendly. The selection of games for the 360 is also very nice. The removable HD is a nice feature as well as the easy setup/take down. I've taken my 360 all over the place with no problem. Xbox live has a very nice online community and their are lots of things that are only features of 360 games such as achievements. For the most part the 360 has many nice features but...
- Cons: The hardware configuration in the 360 is absolutely ridiculous. I've taken apart and fixed many 360's and Microsoft did a terrible job at building the 360. A major problem with the 360's is that they overheat frequently due to the fan speed and the fact that the two processors, which both generate an immense amount of heat, are placed directly underneath the CD drive which allows the buildup of heat and eventually, the melting of the solder on the main board. Also, the thermal grease that is applied prior to the installation of a heat sink onto the processors is totally skimped by Microsoft. That's problem # 1. The 360 has a 22% failure rate, mostly due to the heat, but the disk drives are also known to fail. I've seen many broken disk drives. Microsoft overprices their accessory's an immense amount. A wireless adapter that should cost no more than $50 costs $100. Microsoft costumer support is awful. I've spent too mush time talking to those idiots. Honestly Buy a PS3 if you want con.
- Other Thoughts: a reliable system.
The 360 is easy to configure, you can talk to friends, recover your gamer tag if you lose your Xbox somehow. You can also stream media from your computer to your TV
Perfect
- Pros: Well, this system is perfect since my last one died. I don't have to get one with a HD because I still have my last one and I can now get it with HDMI output without getting an Elite. Hopefully I won't have to worry about the RRoD with the new GPU heatsink.
- Cons: If Microsoft would have put a better heatsink on the GPU three years ago we wouldn't have had the RRoD problem and everyone wouldn't hate Xbox360 so much.
- Other Thoughts: Everything about the 360 is great except for the hardware reliability up till now. The games, user interface, and aesthetics are all awesome.
