4 out of 5 eggsGreat product, but needs a little more storage

Pros: -Nice case, fits right under my entertainment center
-Powers on pretty quick
-Controller is awesome;I'm starting to like wireless connectivity a lot more
-Achievements make the 360 a lot more fun

Cons: -No headset(not too big of a con, since i've never used one before)
-The optical drive can mess up the disk if you push at it instead of pressing the button, so just be careful
-The red ring of death has happened to my last one, but i'll try to be more careful with this one
-Only 256 MB of space makes it hard to enjoy the full 360 experience; I wish it would have at least 5 GB.

Other Thoughts: I did not buy this from newegg; I picked it up at the local Wal-Mart.
Oh, and be sure to buy the Xbox Live 12 Month Subscription!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -It looks, feels, smells, and plays like an Xbox.
-It's not a Wii
-Went with free shipping, arrived in 2 days

Cons: None, sort of, I chose the 360 because of it's exclusive titles... so the ps3's exclusives aren't a con to me.

Other Thoughts: Worth it at this point.. the new systems aren't any time soon and I doubt the price will drop before the new systems do launch... If you're planning on getting one don't wait longer than you have to.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Replacement

Pros: I replaced a broken elite with a falcon motherboard. The old system died after 2.5 years of fairly heavy use because the gpu overheated. The new unit is going strong but is still a little warmer than I would like. I replaced the white case with my old black case, added an extra fan, and upped the speed of the rear fans. It's nice and cool now.

Cons: The stock heating setup is bad.

Other Thoughts: I just hope this system lasts until the next generation xbox.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat system

Pros: Great gaming system, Plays Dvd's, thankfully still supports composite connection as not everyone can afford HDTV ;p

Cons: only 1 controller, 20gig HD , no free game attached like the olde console war days of yore ;p

Other Thoughts: Never using fed ex overnight priority shipping ever again appearently they dont deliver on friggin sat wasted 90$ for a delivery thats still not gonna be here till monday FEDex = Fail overnight is over night dangit should still deliver on saturday but no gotta pay a fee for that to happen.

5 out of 5 eggs"Made in late 2009"

Pros: It has a manufacturing date in late 2009. They have the newer Jasper motherboards which is less likely to 3 RROD on you.

Cons: It still blows out somewhat warm air which makes me think I should invest in an intercooler.

Other Thoughts: If you like playing 360 games, GET IT.

5 out of 5 eggsReady to play

Pros: Ready to play! In comparison to PC, XBOX is really cool!

I'm just connect it to my TV insert a game and play. No windows no direct x, drivers and game speed problems. It's awesome.

Useful cordless game pads.

Cons: Expencive games.

Paid network playing.

Steam is cheaper at all.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's good

Pros: Arcade version with HDMI, lower power consumption. Replaced my 4 year old 1st gen 360. Internal memory (MU) is nice for gamer tag instead of storing the info on your hard drive. HDMI is nice, makes the sytem portable to play on my 25" LCD if I ever wanted to do that.

Cons: RROD has hopefully been fixed. I have personally repaired my first 360 a few times but it's too old now.

Pros: Beautiful HD picture, great Audio,Nice Design,Built In 256mb memory, upconverts dvd's pretty well through hdmi, free 1 month xbox live, the best games are on the 360,very nice controller,oh yea and this is the jasper model

Cons: no hdd included,no chrome trim on dvd tray,no hdmi or component cable included only composite, umm isnt free?

Other Thoughts: I have my 360 arcade hooked up to my 32 inch sony bravia hdtv via hdmi and the picture and sound is amazing. The new 360 arcade's have the jasper chip so no worries for rrod and the system itself is alot more quiet than older 360 models. The games and online is amazing get this system now!

3 out of 5 eggs"We are not blaming you"

Pros: There are lots of great games for the console. It is prorbably the best of the current generation. If you get 3 RROD they are very helpful and willing to replace it without question.

Cons: I bought the first one February 2008. By the end of the year I got the E74 error. Microsoft was nice and fixed it. "Don't worry about it. We'll extend the warranty."

One year later the replacement (which wasn't the console I sent them) died. "We're sorry. It is out of warranty." When I contacted them Muriel said I was abusing the console by simply playing it. She said it could be sent to be repaired but I would have to pay for it. I asked her what the failure rate was because this was the second console to die on me within 2 years. I want it to last more than 1 year if I'm paying $120 to fix it +shipping. She said she had no way to know and suggested I email support instead.

After getting the basic cut and paste responses Joan said to call customer support who would answer my questions. No such luck. It sounded like her name was Ronny. She said "We are not blaming you," followed by "you exceeded the life of the console." They won't explain how long its life is.

Other Thoughts: When I called them, Microsoft said they will extend the warranty 2 years for $60. It is worth the $60 with all the trouble they have given me.

Upgrade my computer and contacted Microsoft to reactivate Windows and Microsoft Rep Marion told me her Xbox 360 failed too.

3 out of 5 eggsNo wireless...

Pros: Newegg rocks, but the specs on this product made it seem like wireless connectivity was included ... it's not!

This is what was listed on the product specs:

Ethernet 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX
Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 a/b/g
Bluetooth Yes

Thankfully, I already knew the XBOX doesn't come with wireless, so I wasn't too disappointed.

Cons: If the specs had been accurate, I would have purchased the wireless adapter with the game console...
