5 out of 5 eggsXBOX you got to like it!!

Pros: Everything from game play to it remarkability as a Media Extender Box. My grandson plays games and I use it to stream HDTV media from another room in the house where my PC has a HDHomerun TV (2 Local Tuners) connected via ethernet or on a seprate LAN with wifi connection to all PCs.

Cons: Can't thinkk of any other than little pricy.

Other Thoughts: Don"t buy a Linksys Media extender if you want all to go well. Xbox 360 Elite does it flawlessly and from a distance the Linsys box can't even get good signal.

4 out of 5 eggsGood but...

Pros: The 250 gb hard drive was a smart decision. The unit connects to my wireless network and downloads to the hard drive easily and speedily. The graphics and sound are awesome. Large variety of games available and many or most have downloadable demos available.

Cons: I'm really disappointed in two aspects:

-The Kinect looks fun but my living room really isn't large enough. The television (and thus the Kinect) is about 7' from the couch and that is barely enough for the Kinect to "see" you despite moving it to many different positions. I am going to try to set it on a movable end-table next to the tv stand but, for now, I hardly use the Kinect.

-I was really looking to be able to stream movies from my Win 7 PC. The Xbox connects to Windows Media Center easily enough but absolutely crawls when trying to access media libraries and usually disconnects itself. My network is 802.11g and while "n" is recommended, the network tuner says I am just at or below the bandwidth needed for hi-def. I've tried reducing the number of items in the libraries but have yet to find a solution. Many people seem to have the same problem.

Other Thoughts: Newegg continues to outperform expectations...ordered the unit on a Saturday with standard "3 day" delivery...it arrived on Tuesday. It did take about a week to get an email on details about my gift certificate.

I am a long time Wii user and really haven't mastered the Xbox controls yet...I find FPS games nearly impossible but have had a blast with arcade type games and racing games.

I do believe I will solve both of the issues listed in the "cons" and would have done 5-stars for this otherwise.

5 out of 5 eggsFun for the Whole Family

Pros: Games provide fun for the whole family and allow players to put the controller down and be active in their gaming.

Cons: Kinect is somewhat sensitive to lighting and reflectiveness of clothing, but that is very minor.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome updated system

Pros: Redesigned Xbox 360, HDMI, built-in WiFi, wireless controller, more usb ports, 250gb HD, nice black color to match all my other home entertainment devices, and of course Kinect!

Cons: Minor --- only con I can think of is Newegg lists this bundle as including 1 month of Xbox Live Gold membership. I don't think this is true, at least I can't find out how to claim it. And MS website does not list this bundle as having 1 month free Gold.

Other Thoughts: Picked this up when Newegg had the $60.00 promo gift card. Price can't be beat! That will pay for a 1 year Xbox Live Gold membership. Kinect is awesome, having so much fun with the kids.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a dream

Pros: Easy setup
Kinect works great, very small learning curve to attain desired operation
Bundles game (Kinectanimals) was a hit with my 5 year old daughter

Cons: Included headset jack doesnt fit well in the controller plug in and makes clackling noises, I fiddled with it for a few but quickly gave up as it gave me a reason to buy the Turtle Beach headphone system.

Other Thoughts: Hours of entertainment and fun for the whole family

5 out of 5 eggsXbox 360 = Hours of Fun

Pros: Small form factor (for best cooling and disc protection place console horizontal). The glossy black material does attract dust and such, but who cares. I mean really did you buy this system because it's pretty? My console runs cool and quiet. The top vent and side intakes work great at moving enough air through the case to keep the plastic casing cool to the touch even after hours of gaming. For those of you out there still not aware of the difference between the manufacturer advertised harddrive size and it's size as seen by a computer; harddrive manufacturers calculate 1GB as 1000MB and your computer calculates 1GB as 1024MB, so an advertised 250GB harddrive would be seen by a computer as approx. 244GB. If you take into account the amount of space the operating system occupies your Xbox 360 with a 250GB harddrive will come with approx. 225GB or so of available storage space.(Seriously people I think we all should know how to use google at this point).... (see other thoughts)

Cons: In reply to people complaining that the PS is not inside the console, do you really want another major source of heat inside a console that you already think gets to hot? Be glad you can locate that heat generator away from all other sensitive electronics.

The only real con I have, concerns Xbox live Gold account. All those neat extras that M$ advertises like N*flix integration, Zoon Marketplace integration and basically every other type of internet service integration requires a gold pass (including M$N Messenger video chat with the Kinect). I suppose it's just another ploy from M$ that I will just have to bend over and take in the elbow.

Other Thoughts: I find the touch sensitive buttons a pro for it's coolness factor, if you are worried about them being accidentally touched put it out of reach of accidental contact. I use a Logitech universal remote so I don't even have to use any buttons. One piece of advise I would offer regarding the touch sensitive buttons, is to remove any disk prior to moving the console, even if its already off, if you accidentally turn it on while moving it you could scratch the disk already in the system. The kinect is a fun add on device and is much less gimmicky than I was anticipating. Overall the whole bundle is awesome and I would recommend to any of my friends. BTW this is my first console from M$ since the SNES.
