Microsoft Xbox 360 Forza 3/Alan Wake 250 GB Holiday Bundle Black

Pros: The system is fine. Range of games is excellent, and I am happy with the wireless controllers - and have had no issues with loss of connectivity with the system that others have reported.

Cons: Anyone hoping for a quieter system than previous, prepare to be disappointed. The fan is extremely loud and during certain loading sequences, the vibrations were causing such a nuisance that I bought a non-slip rubber mat to sit it on. I have also had one game destroyed by the upright system format, getting heavily scratched whilst spinning - luckily it was the first day I had the game, and returned it for an immediate replacement.
I am also dismayed at Xbox's insistence that the free Xbox live membership does not allow for online gaming and Netflix streaming, whereas playstation do. If you are not allowing me to play online, why the hell do I need an Xbox live membership at all?

Pros: Reliable, so far.

Other Thoughts: Bought this in January to replace an older 360 that had multiple rrod. So far it's been rock solid and hope it will last much longer than the older units.

Cons: The system has froze on me 3 times since I bought it. I hope this doesn't become a problem in the future. Xbox Live is $60 a year which is WAYYY too high IMO. PS3 in FREE & most PC games are FREE.

Other Thoughts: This syetm is alot of fun. The graphics are beautiful & look amazing on my HDTV, The sound is increadable as well and sound great on my 5.1 surround sound system. Xbox Live is great and really extends the liife of your games after you beat them. The controller feels great in my hands. I love this system.

Pros: Great console! There was a lot of problems with the old version, but this one has none. Cooling is good, its read all the games I have thrown at it and it looks nicer than the previous model.

Cons: none so far.

Other Thoughts: Great buy. I got it for my little brother and he loves it. I guess the only con is the hes in his room more.
Also if theres any guitar hero fans, there has been a rumor that the newer ones don't work well with this newer Xbox, but I have had no problems with Guitar Hero WOR, I don't know if others are unlucky or if they fixed the problem, but like I said no problemo.

Pros: Ahh, the Microsoft Xbox 360. Sony's competitor to the Playstation 3. I don't know where I'm heading with this. But, I would MUCH rather own a 360 over a PS3. I think the 360 has better graphics and the controllers are more comfortable. Granted, no Blu-ray support, but oh well. Didn't care too much for Alan Wake, but Forza 3 I'm loving.

Cons: Not compatible with all original Xbox games :(

Pros: the hard drive is huge! you are going to have trouble filling up this baby. this one came with alan wake, which is a very good and extremely underrated game, and forza 3, a racing sim that looks just as amazing as it plays. plus, only 299.99, no sales tax or shipping! the new fan only creates heat around that fan,(which means its working), so the new ones run pretty chilled.

Cons: the touch sensitive buttons can get annoying when transporting it, or simply moving it. they are kinda loud, but once you install the game(dont worry about space) it is nice and quite. Also, i have heard that these things will circle up your disk if it is hit or bumped while a disk is spinning in it. be careful. im not gonna try to test it out.

Pros: This is the XBox that should have been made from the beginning.

-It IS very very very quiet compared to my last unit that died.
-Looks very pretty!
-Alot of more inputs and a dedicated Kinect port in the back plus HDMI!
- Comes with 2 games!
-comes with a headset!
-Comes with a HUGE 250 GB hard drive.
-lots of vents. There are one on each side and one on the top. Making it easy to breath.

Xbox live arcade does have alot of amazing games. I admit. Plus xbox has exclusives that i like.

Newegg got the xbox to me in 1 day. Did you hear me? ONE DAY! AMAZING!!!!

Cons: -Xbox live charges.
-had to buy a transfer cable to move my stuff over.
-controller uses batteries.
-it can get real dusty, real quick so clean those vents!

Other Thoughts: Im a Ps3man. always will. But this xbox is really well done and i commend them for this model. So if you had a red ring like me, and wanna try something 100 times more quiet then the last one, please buy this model.

If you install the game, the system wont make a peep. My fridge is louder than this xbox slim. lol
