General

Brand
Microsoft
Part Number
5C5-00001
Type
Xbox One Console Without Kinect

Processor

Processor Type
8 Cores
An 8-core x86 processor lets you instantly switch between a game and your entertainment apps with ease.

Memory/Storage

Storage Capacity
Loaded with memory
8GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive give you plenty of memory for your games, demos, movies, apps, music, and more.*
* Xbox One system software uses a significant amount of storage; less internal storage will be available to users. 500 GB = 500 billion bytes.
Optical Drive Type
Blu-ray
Watch movies and play games in stunning HD with a Blu-ray player.

Connections

HDMI
HDMI Pass-Thru
Connect your cable or satellite box to your Xbox One and prepare for lift off. HDMI pass-thru enables you to watch TV through your Xbox, which makes switching inputs seem almost pre-historic.*
* Supported television tuner or cable/satellite set top box with HDMI output and HDMI cable required (all sold separately). Recommend removing "Xbox One can do it all" for ROW since you still need remote controls to change TV channels outside the US.

Feature

Feature
Xbox One brings together the best exclusive games, the most advanced multiplayer,
and entertainment experiences you won’t find anywhere else. Play games like
Titanfall™ and Halo together with your friends on a network powered by over 300,000
servers for maximum performance. Find new challengers who fit your skill and style
with Smart Match, which uses intelligent algorithms to bring the right players together.
Turn your best game moments into personalized movies that you can share with
friends, or broadcast your gameplay live. Then switch quickly between apps like Netflix
or YouTube. Or do two things at once by snapping a game, live TV, a movie or apps
side-by-side.

4 out of 5 eggsKnowledge is Power

Pros: 1. Easy setup.
2 Game station and a semi-PC.
3. Solid price but should fall before Chirstmas.

Cons: 1. I purchased this for the TV capabilities. Wish I had done more homework. There is a lack of apps available, i.e. nothing for HBO on demand and nothing for Xfinity. Also, my cable box does not sync with the Xbox One.

Other Thoughts: Should get better and better with time. Wouldn't recommend until more apps are available. Most apps should be available when the product launches (Microsoft?).

Other Thoughts: Love my xbox one :)

2 out of 5 eggsDisc drive issues

Pros: Easy to set up?

Cons: Disc drive didn't work. Apparently the only way around it is to return the console... I don't understand how almost a year after the console was released, there are still disc drive issues...

5 out of 5 eggsJust Received It

Pros: I just got the Xbox One without the Kinect today, so far everything works.

-Easy to set up
-Wifi is great, a step up from the adapter thing they had for the 360 for sure.
-I really like the TV option.
-The interface is pretty neat.

Cons: -None so far

Other Thoughts: Since I just received it today, I will update my review when I test some games out in a few days.

Also, the oversized air bubble wrap was pushed to the side in the box, thus the xbox (in its original package) was against the box and could have gotten damaged. Luckily the box it came in did not have any dents in it whatsoever and the xbox inside the original package is secure with styrofoam.

5 out of 5 eggs2nd one's the charm

Pros: I got my replacement Xbox One and I'm loving it. Even though the first one was DOA, I still stuck with the brand and I am glad. With the new Halo Master Chief Collection coming out in a few months, I am hyped.

Cons: None this time around.

4 out of 5 eggsXbox One...

Pros: Okay so xbox one without kinect isnt all that bad i never really used kinect even with the 360 so getting the xbox for 100 cheaper without kinect priceless! Everything runs smooth and without a problem. Connected to my wifi fast and only had one problem with it disconnecting then had to restart xbox and it picked up the connection again but it was doing an update so maybe the update had something to do with it??

Cons: Cons well they need to hurry and update the xbox so we can get more storage room by the use of external hard drives. I am almost maxed out from all the games and map packs. Thats why i knocked a star off but i heard this was in the works???

Other Thoughts: Overall xbox has made an outstading product with a price range of the ps4. Get the hard drive issue worked on and more private titles and xbox will remain supreme!

4 out of 5 eggsNice upgrade to the last console

Pros: The Xbox One is much faster than the Xbox 360. The snap feature is useful when playing a game and you want to load another app on the side like Game DVR. If you get the play and charge kit, the cable allows you yo connect the controller to a pc and use it to play games on your computer.

Cons: The only con I found so far and the reason for only 4 eggs is when using the B button to back out of things it will launch a random app (mostly netflix).

Other Thoughts: I bought this system because I have problems with my right hand and wrist. It's difficult to rest my are on the desk for more than a couple of minutes to use the mouse without my hand locking in place. I don't have to worry about this when using the controller. As long as this system lasts me a while I would most definitely buy another or recommend to a friend.
