Pros: Sounds Great

Cons: Mic is horrible quality, its muffled like if a bag was put over it. Cant use 7.1 surround sound unless you have optical cable which isn't a big deal but still a con.

Pros: I've had multiple headsets of various brands over the years. Siberia SteelSeries Elite, Corsair, Triton, Turtle Beack, Razer . . . . none of them compare or even come close. The sound quality is impeccable. Combined with the Sound Blaster software that came with my mobo I was able to easily tweak these things to exactly the tone I liked. There is so little noise with them and they're the first pair I've ever owned that I don't have to run at full volume. In fact, full volume can hurt my ears and I like it loud.

They are incredibly comfortable. I can wear them for hours and the fact that they don't have leather surrounds for me is a bonus because I don't sweat inside them as much.

I love how easily you can adjust the volume between game sound and your voice software (Ventrillo for me mainly). They're the first set of headphones that the 7.1 emulation actually sounds good enough that I use it. Almost all the time unless I'm listening to music or playing an old game where two channel just sounds best.

I really can't say enough. They're more than worth the price of admission.

Cons: If I had to choose a con, it'd be that the mic is only of average quality but that's pretty minor. I'm not recording videos for YouTube with a massive number of followers where voice quality is of great importance. For most people, I think the mic would more than suffice.

Other Thoughts: It's an open design so if you need it to be very quiet and isolated (say you have a sleeping child or wife in the same room) you'll want to not crank them too loud.

Pros: Sound is great, soft padding feels nice, not too tight.

Cons: Price.

Other Thoughts: Big upgrade for me, last headphones lost all padding so most anything would be better. I like the fabric not plastic pad cover and the sound seems crystal clear.
