4 out of 5 eggsRetro Bit Cable

Pros: Fairly inexpensive way to use a standard NES controller with your emulators on your PC. When it works, it works flawlessly.

Cons: Seems to be hit or miss about which controllers it cleanly recognizes. I went through 3 of my old controllers that work perfectly with the NES console, but acted crazy with this adapter.
But once I found 2 that worked, it just worked.

Other Thoughts: For about the same price you can get the USB NES controllers and those worked each and every time. So if emulation is the only thing you're doing, maybe consider the USB controller rather than this.

5 out of 5 eggsTurns any computer into a NES system!

Pros: It works on PC and Mac, was very easy to install and use (drivers downloaded automatically, and minimal effort was needed on the emulator side), and plays like a charm. There is nothing like the original NES controller, and it's the only controller worth playing NES games on. With a decently fast computer, it's just as responsive as playing on an original system, and sometimes I forgot I was playing on a computer.

Cons: I can't think of any cons so far. It has worked as it should. It doesn't feel as sturdy as it could be, so it may not last for years, but as of right now, it's working great!

Other Thoughts: Hook your computer up to a TV and load up your favorite NES emulator... also make sure to actually have a real NES controller. You'll be gaming like '86 before you know it.
