Practically a must-buy
- Pros: Has its own power supply, so no fear of burning up your system from an over-draw. Also, no chance of burning up your power connectors.
Turns on only when it needs to.
Fan is much, much quieter than the old Intercooler EX.
- Cons: Doesn't cool quite as good as the old Intercooler EX. But that is really a trade off, since the old EX could fry your system.
- Other Thoughts: Just buy this cooler right now. The 360 is hosed due to a faulty design. Every 360 will eventually red ring because of the heat generated by the GPU, and the fact that the DVD drive is millimeters over the GPU, trapping heat and eventually frying the components and warping the motherboard. The newer revisions of the 360 alleviate this problem some, but they will red ring too.
Do yourself a favor and buy this cooler to prevent this from happening to your 360. Nyko has pretty much ironed out all the problems the past Intercoolers had, and what we are left with is a must-buy to protect your investment.
Trust me, I speak from experience. The RRoD is a hassle. Get this to prevent it from happening to you.

- Pros: Keeps my xbox 360 cool so I don't have to worry about it red ringing on me. Has separate power source, not attached directly to main console power source like old ones, so frying of power connectors is no longer an issue, thus RROD is no longer an issue.
- Cons: There are none. I seriously think the people who write that the fan on this thing is loud either: a.)are using a hearing aid on the highest volume settings or b.)feel they must write a con for everything and that is the only thing they could possibly think of.
- Other Thoughts: Trust me, the fan on this thing is NOT LOUD AT ALL! I read all the reviews before purchasing this and the one thing that kept me from buying it at first was that a few people said it was loud and a few said it wasn't so I didn't know who to believe. Honestly, I'm not kidding when I say this fan is not loud at all. I thought it was going to be like a jet engine or something the way people were describing it. My girlfriend and I have a running joke now sometimes when I turn on the 360 where she says "MAN, CAN YOU TURN THAT THING OFF? ITS BLOWING MY EARDRUMS OUT!" and I'll say something like "I KNOW, I CAN'T STAND THIS STUPID THING, I DONT KNOW WHY I EVER BOUGHT THIS LOUD PIECE OF JUNK!" Obviously being sarcastic because it is basically inaudible. Its literally completely drowned out when playing a game to the point where you do not even notice there's a fan on it. Great product! Highly recommended!

- Pros: Keeps my 360 cool and prevents it from freezing due to overheating in the middle of games. Separate power source is a big plus.
- Cons: no real cons; generates as much noise as your average cooling fan on a computer so it's easily tuned/drowned out.
