Also featured is the selectable Roger Beep, as well as a key lock to prevent unwanted channel changes.
Ehh, keep looking
Pros: Lightweight, accepts a headset - simple to use, came with batteries and looks nice.
Cons: Each unit will chirp after the 2nd party finishes talking. The chirp is extremely loud - and it almost twice as loud as the person speaking with the volume turned all the way up.

Pros: Not expensive, compact radio with plenty of channels to communicate.
Cons: I was not expected it will work in 18 miles range, but I was thinking it would be good or acceptable transmission / reception for about 5 miles of distance. I was wrong. The real distance when units can communicate between each other is 2 miles or less. Radios working fine in 1 mile range. Over one mile - still working, but not very well. Over two miles - transmission lost. The test was done in small town, no mounts or hills, no big buildings or constructions, just typical suburban style 2-stores homes.
Other Thoughts: The only reason I gave 3-star rating is small transmission distance. I was expected a little better range since it was advertised as "Up to 18 miles". Otherwise the radio is fine.

Pros: I ordered four of these to use in my sector at a convention in KC metro. I only charged them for a short time before they had to be put into action, and we were running everywhere the whole five days that staff had to be working. These little things kept going the whole convention and the road trip home with minimal time on the chargers. I also got a late start getting out of the city on the way home thanks to a red light, but I was still in range of my friends and catch up with them. I love these things!
Cons: Occasionally picks up random static and people when working in the metro, but that's to be expected.
Other Thoughts: They received five days of heavy use before I wrote this review, but they will need further study to see how they hold up over the months.
