The 29 LX features a modern aesthetic design with a selectable LCD color display in red, green, blue, or amber to complement the interior of any cab. After a quick tune up, this radio swings 15 watt deadkey no problem. ~25 watts transmit. Considering that you can check the firmware, it looks like there may be updates at some point. Would be nice to see side band added. Cons: Standard Cobra mic boxed with it. This mic is almost worthless. Get yourself a nice power mic to go with it. Other Thoughts: Cobra could really improve the microphone quality, but it's minimal impact. This will by my second 29LX. My 29 LXLE was stolen. Did you find this review helpful?
