4 out of 5 eggsWorks great, customer service no help

Pros: Works great. And will work with different types of routers. Used to connect Gamecube to internet for gameplay.

Cons: Customer service not helpful and misleading. Had to troubleshoot to get my non-linksys router communicating with it.

Other Thoughts: Linksys customer service did not mention hooking this up directly to router with network cable to set up IP address. I was told to purchase another more expensive Game Adapter that would work with other routers. After a few headaches and finally using an RJ45 to connect this directly to my other-brand router, an IP address was assigned and it is working great.
Thanks to whoever recommended connecting it directly to my router.

3 out of 5 eggscheap but works

Pros: Well its cheap, It doesnt seem to stream my movies to my xbox well as it gets glitch. But it works on my xbox360 just dont seem fast. Gaming online is ok.

Cons: This thing took me 3 hrs to figure how to set up with WEP. I also had problems with it locking up as I thought it was bad. There was interfence from my wireless router. Had to unplug my router and then do setup so keep that in mind if it seems to be locked up.

Other Thoughts: Well this worked ok after I got it setup. I am thinking of going with the g version and installing it inside my xbox to see if it will stream movies ok.

4 out of 5 eggsLINKSYS WGA11B Wireless-B Game Adapter

Pros: Works wonderfully once you get it set up. Inexpensive.

Cons: The setup CD included DOES NOT WORK.You will get a "connection fail" error every time. Go to Linksys.com and download the new wizard (it's hiding under the block called "driver")Open and use that wizard and you will be up and running in minutes.Plug the little box directly into your router to set it up. Click the tiny switch on the side to the straight lines, not the X.Click the blue button to a number 1-11 channel Now you're ready to set-up. In the first screen just highlight the model number and hit next. In the next screen type in "admin." In the next screen enter your WEP number and SSID number. That's it. Now connect it to your playstation, click the little side switch to X and click the blue button until it reads "P1". Now you can connect.
The User guide and manual are so sparse they are nearly useless.

Other Thoughts: Don't give up, it will eventually work.

3 out of 5 eggsSO SO

Pros: I am using it on my xbox with wep enabled. This took me hours to configure. I am streaming audio fine but my dvd collection skips when streamed. Might be the 11mbps speed not for sure. But yea I can tunnel online great, and listen to shoutcast so I give it an average rating. If you not using wep I think setup is way easier.

Cons: Seems a bit hot, also during setup it locked up I was ready to rma it as it wouldnt do nothing, as soon as I unplugged my 2wire wireless modem I could communicate with it. So maybe thats why some peeps said theirs died.

Other Thoughts: I may buy a 54mbs adapter later.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Simple, works well with slingbox, delivering videostream, about 90% quality to compare to LAN.Very easy setup, since connects to Linksys WRT54G.Just pushed button to "lan" .

Cons: For the price-none.

Other Thoughts: wrt54g gives more problems; this toy so far is worry free.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Cheap. Very easy to get it working. Works on the Xbox 360. Just have to plug it in and configure some wireless settings. Got it running in 3 min after connecting it to the Xbox 360.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: Wish it had a way to tell signal strength with out having to go to the xbox's dashboard.

5 out of 5 eggsLinksys Wireless-B Game Adapter Review

Pros: The wireless game adapter by linksys is excellent for gaming without a wored internedt connection. We have a Xbox and playstation 2 and the adapter works great with both on any floor in the house including the basement where it is primarily used. The wireless router is on the second floor and is a D-Link 108 mb wireless b/g connection and works great with the game adapter any where we use it. I received the item within 2 business days too! New Egg has outdone themselves again.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I haven't tried to use the game adapter with a PC yet where I hear a lot of the problems come in but if you are looking for a wireless option for your xbox or playstation look no further than this. At this price you can't find a more satisfactory product.

1 out of 5 eggsWGA11B

Pros: Was cheap.

Cons: Will not connect as a wireless bridge, has poor support for encryption. The product offers no way to troubleshoot any problems and the documentation is unhelpful.

Other Thoughts: This product has been a severe pain in my backside. Problems may be due to using a non-linksys wireless router but I'm not able to diagnose that through 2 blinking lights.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great for me

Pros: I use this for my networked Tivo's, I have had challenges getting wireless NIC's to work with v6.2 TiVo even with all the suggestions from dealdatabase, but with this device it worked immediately when attached to my wired USB NIC. I also use it for my work laptop where wireless is disabled and I am locked out of admin rights to install a driver for a wireless NIC. The laptop thinks it's hooked into a wired network, so it works, again, perfectly.

Cons: None that I have run into. But, I am not using WEP on this WAP.

Other Thoughts: Would have been cool if it could pull it's power from a USB port.
