Works on NXE
- Pros: It works, it works with the NXE and it works fine; driverless install as the drivers are on the XBox360 naively.
- Cons: Quality is low; however what do you expect for a cheap preparatory camera?
- Other Thoughts: It'd be nice if we could use good quality 3rd party webcams, but what do you expect from Microsoft?
XBox Live Vision Camera (wouldn't recommend for the XBOX
- Pros: no software update necessary to install camera on xbox 360
- Cons: Picture is grainy and colors are washed out.
Does not work with the NXE dashboard for the 360
- Other Thoughts: I now own 2 XBox Live Vision cameras, I purchased the first when they were first released and was able to use it on my original xbox 360 after one upgrade. Since then I hadn't had the need for it. Recently I purchased a game that allows you to customize your character using the live vision camera to map your own face on your playable character... I hooked the camera in to get the points, and have a little more fun with customization and the camera would not work. I tried several more times and checked xbox.com and found no known issues. I made the assumption that after a long period of disuse the camera no longer worked. I purchased a second thinking that I may need a software disc, similar to the 360 HD DVD drive, to make it work and found that the second, brand new, camera did not work either. All other usb accessories still work, so I know the ports are fine. The only change between now and the last time the camera worked was the download for the new NXE dashboard.

Not compatible with Windows Vista?
- Other Thoughts: Vista just makes me mad period I dont like it and I hope Windows 7 fixes this. Other hand is great!
