1 out of 5 eggsNot worth much.

Pros: + Lightweight.
+ Doesn't block out the sound of the television.

Cons: - Sound from headphone phases through different volume levels.
- Microphone playback phases through different volume levels.
- Connector is sensitive and the slightest touch causes static interference.
- When in chat, other party members can hear their own voice.
- Pinches somewhat on the head, making it somewhat uncomfortable.

Other Thoughts: I've bought two of these headsets. The first one was a while back and it worked pretty much the same. I thought it might have been a defective product, but this one works very similar. So, as fair warning, the Microsoft name doesn't mean much here. I wouldn't recommend this headset for any price range. If you want to save money, I recommend buying an adapter (Xbox Controller to two 3.5mm jacks) for about $1 and then a cheap headset you're familiar with. Heck, any headset around $5 with decent reviews would most likely be a better buy. Please, only get this headset if you can't find anything else or if you feel lucky.

2 out of 5 eggsNever was worth $20

Pros: You can find these things in almost any electronics store

Cons: doesn't last very long maybe a week to a month of semi-constant use, usually the mic goes first, sometimes the headphone goes out before the mic

Other Thoughts: I have literally had ten of these in the past three years all of which were brand spanking new until i opened the packaging and then in about a week it all goes underground people can't hear me anymore then I'm told why I didn't anwer ever fricken three seconds basically and get very annoyed by the question especially since I basically have to yell at the top of my lungs to answer

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - Talk to friends and other people on Xbox Live
- Price is good, but of course I wouldn't mind them being cheaper.

Cons: If you don't want to buy another, try to keep them off the floor and away from pets. They do bend a bit, but if you step on them in the right place, they will break.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage product

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Microsoft drops the ball on creating a quality LASTING product here. Microphone stopped working after 1 week of use. Apparently this is a common issue... Just like the xbox 360 not being designed with durability in mind neither is this.

Other Thoughts: Seriously... check out all the youtube videos on how to fix an xbox 360 microphone. Stop ripping people off M$!! Pay attention to the quality aspect for once.

2 out of 5 eggsget what you pay for

Pros: only pro is that it connects to your control pad

Cons: Piece of junk. It shorts out on me often where I have to frequently plug it in and take it out. etc.. I'll let my son use it. hah

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't buy another one

5 out of 5 eggsNearly Perfect for Telephone

Pros: Size, weight, features and price.

Cons: Is not free, needs a little more volume.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these headsets for our XBox 360. The jack is the same as the headset I use with my telephone so I tried it out. This is one of the best telephone headsets I have ever used, and I've used a lot of them over the years. It just needs about 15% more volume to be perfect.

3 out of 5 eggsTangles easily.

Pros: It's the xbox brand so I know that it had to have SOME quality... that's a plus I guess.

Doesn't get painful after wearing it for extended periods.

The adjustable part of the mic is REALLY sturdy.

Cons: The cables tie up faster than cheap ipod earbuds, I think microsoft should really update the cables so they're kind of the the audio cables on the beats by dre.

The little plug can rip and break easily, I miss that little base connect you would plug in and just turn the switch back and forth for the mute.

The mute button is a little harder to access for me, sometimes I find it easier to just rip the mic out of the controller instead of muting myself.

Other Thoughts: I have medium hair, so the grip on the side slips a little, but no biggie, I wear a hat =p

5 out of 5 eggs11 Months No problems

Pros: This head set came with my elite bundle last Christmas. It has been 11 months with frequent use and I have had no problems with anything on the head set. Sound still comes in clear, the mic still works perfectly, and the mute and volume controls are flawless.

Cons: It would be nice to have the option to get the game audio through the headset as well.

Other Thoughts: For $20 this is a great headset. My buddy had his $80 skull candy head set for Xbox snap when he was putting it on (He doesn't have a huge head). More money doesn't always give you better quality and durability...

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible

Pros: You can talk into it and other people can hear you, when it works.

Cons: Breaks all of the time. I've gone through more than 5 of these headsets and with absolutely no abuse they simply stop working. My last one I got worked for less than two hours before it would start cutting out.

Other Thoughts: It seems that I just get really unlucky with these things because I know some people that have never had a problem with them. From my experience with them I would suggest buying a nicer headset that will hopefully last you longer, that is what I am doing.

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Comfortable
Good sound
Good noise cancelation.
Easy to connect.

Cons: Miss having volume and Mute control down on the controller not up on my throat. That is the only thing I hate about this new unit.

Other Thoughts: Does what it is supposed to do.
(aka, be a backup for the rare occasions i forget to charge my Wireless headset! Hahahaha!)
