4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Extremely versitile. I can use it with my phone, my Xbox and my computer. It's actually better to use it with you computer with a wireless adapter, and run it in the Xbox mode. It pairs up in just a couple seconds in Xbox mode, and pairs nicely with phone in bluetooth mode. The sound you get from it is very good, and the signal strength is pretty good. Very comfortable.

It also can trigger voice commands in phone, mute the mic in chat, and other useful things that I didn't mess around with too much. The functionality is there

Cons: The mic is terrible

Other Thoughts: The mic sucks, but the mic on my webcam is great, so I literally use the headset for in-ear voice chat (make it the default communication audio device in Windows) and use the web cam as my default mic. I like it and I'm glad I bought it.

5 out of 5 eggsMicrosoft XBOX 360 Wireless Blutooth Headset

Pros: Picks up sounds very very good. Friends over Xbox live could hear me more clearly than ever before, I was using a standard wired headset that comes w/ the console. I'll never use the standard wired headset again.

Cons: I must have smaller ears than most people, because it doesn't quite fit just right on my ears. It just always feels like it might fall off my ear at any point, but its still comfortable so I can live with that.

Other Thoughts: Let it be known: this this picks up sound from far away. I usually game w/ my surround sound on but if I use this headset I have to turn my surround system down otherwise my friends can't hear me speak, all they can hear is my surround sound system. Its not a con just wanted to let u guys know this mic will pick up various background noises.

1 out of 5 eggsBuilt in tones will hurt your ears

Pros: Bluetooth connects to a huge array of devices

Easy to use scan feature that allows you to change which controller slot the mic is set to on your xbox 360

Cons: Ok here is the big problem with this thing. TONES!

Yes that's right I'm talking about audio tones. They are loud enough to hurt my ear drum and changing the volume of the device has absolutely no effect on the volume of the tones that it makes whenever you hit any button.

When you turn the volume down, you get one tone to let you know you are turning the volume down. When you turn the volume up you get a different tone. However the volume of these tones doesn't change at all no matter how low you turn the volume on the device.

The tone this headset makes when you hit the mute button is the worst. It's a very loud ping that makes my ears ring every time.

When I'm playing my xbox I will leave the mic on mute so other players can't hear what I'm doing (coughing, eating, talking to people in real life etc..) and when I want to say something to other players in the game I will un-mute the mic and say what I want to say, and then mute it again.

The problem with doing that on this headset is when the mic is muted you will hear a beep through the earpiece every few seconds letting you know that it's muted. So playing with the mic on mute gets very annoying when you are constantly listening to a beeping sound just so you know that the mic is muted. I already know the mic is muted because I'm the one who muted it!

So if you buy this expect your ear drums to hurt from all the stupid noises it makes when you press anything. And again remember the volume buttons have absolutely no effect on the volume of these built in noises. Whoever designed it this way should be fired. And their boss who allowed the final product to be released like that should be fired as well. The sad thing is this device has loads of potential and were it not for the fact that it causes me physical pain in my ear drums it would be a really awesome universal headset.

Other Thoughts: I would take one of the old style white and gray xbox 360 headsets over this any day of the week.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well, but may get uncomfortable.

Pros: It works.
It's black.
Pretty simple to use.
Cheaper than at normal stores.
Charge lasts a long time.

Cons: The ear bud piece is kind of large, so it will mostly hurt for virgin ear bud users.
Can easily fall if your leaning over or shaking your head hard (but it stays on very well when you're just sitting there, like you're suppose to).
It may still cut out randomly, and reconnect, but it seems to be nowhere near as often as the last wireless Xbox mic I had (the first generation kind).
Kind of minor, but it isn't as easily as I expected to press the mute button (have to use one finger to hold the mic, while another finger presses the button).

Other Thoughts: I don't use the blutooth part, but will probably use it when I get a PS3.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent enough

Pros: WIRELESS!! Decent battery life. Multi size rubber ear "buds" for custom fit. Very sensitive

Cons: The little itty bitty plastic piece that goes around your ear. I almost thought i broke it a cpl times without trying to. They could have at least thrown an extra one in. Falls off ear if you lean to the side too much or if u get excited and jump and move to quickly. When u mute it it beeps way too often letting u know its muted (real annoying). Very sensitive. literally picks up you chewing and ur background noises.

4 out of 5 eggsNew headset is great

Pros: Great connectivity, it connects to all the blue tooth devices I own and retains memory of them for easy and fast switching over, it dosen't get interference from multiple xbox's or try to switch consoles. xbox mode is flawless, earpeice fits well and has multiple sizes

Cons: The blue tooth range is limited to only about 15 feet before it gets distorted, it also distorts around other electronic devices in bluetooth mode. the sound quality isn't the greatest but does its job

Other Thoughts: i love this headset the only major con is the sound quality, blue tooth mode has a limited range but if your using it for a phone its going to be in your pocket most of the time any way so it doesn't matter. all around a good buy.
