It's zombie-bashing time in the Xbox 360 blockbuster hit Dead Rising! You play as Frank West, a cocky photojournalist investigating the strange events in a sleepy little Colorado town. Riding in a helicopter, Frank asks to be dropped off at the massive, local shopping mall. When he gets inside, he realizes that it -- and the whole town -- is overrun by the living dead! Dead Rising
- Pros: Let's see. 1. It's not a movie liscense, it's an original idea and story. 2. Graphics and sound are superb. 3. there is actually a story and characters you learn to care about.
- Cons: At first, the save design is frustrating, but it is entirely understandable why they did it, in retrospect. This game is meant to be a challenge, this would be totally negated with saving anywhere.
- Other Thoughts: Would require at least 3 or 4 full play-throughs to see everything and complete all missions. And I would just like to say that, as much as I love this game, I am getting really tired of the 'All America-Bashing, All the Time'. It's time for entertainment folks to find a new whipping boy.
Ring of Death Invoker
- Pros: This was the first 360 demo I downloaded over Xbox Live, and it was so great that I went and rented it for a week. (bought it after the price went down.)
You get 72 hours (game-time) to complete the story mode. This game is designed to be a short play-through, comparatively speaking, but it is very addictive. For those of us who had trouble beating the bosses, you can always level up your character RPG-style. The stats stay with you through every playthrough, and I believe the creator said you can eventually get strong enough to kill a zombie with a CD. So yeah, that's cool.
- Cons: The game does get a bit out of hand at some points. For example, a lot of things don't make sense as far as how to kill bosses, or you can really get into a rut and HATE the game if you keep trying the same things at low levels. I kept going to the same areas of the mall, and I felt that the map was really small and too hard. Then I found other cool areas, like a grocery store (eat food to gain health!) and a gun shop.
- Other Thoughts: Most of the early games I played for 360 (besides Kameo, ugh) tended to freeze my system. At first, it seemed to simply be overheating. After I bought this game, though, it made my system get the ring of death. If you want to get a new 360 =) then play this game.

An average game that could get very boring.
- Pros: The game has zombies out of nowhere.
- Cons: It's very boring.
Dead Rising
- Pros: This be honest,this is A game based of the old zombie movie Dawn of the Dead.Even though it says right on the package it isn't.Wich is cool,and the reason I bought the game to begin with.
I was amazed by the sheer amount of enemies that were on screen at once.Everything is A weapon.The mall is pretty cool to explore.
- Cons: The irritating time limit the game gives you to complete objectives is way to short.Wich is the major flaw in the game.Also try to guide the npc`s to safety is a pain and A chore.They will wander of on there own and get attacked by zombies.Or for no reason try to fight or kill A zombie.
- Other Thoughts: If your A fan of the old zombie movie Dawn of the Dead,than pick this game up.The game is cool but also very frustrating.
Good Time Consumer.
- Pros: Very challenging. There are so many weapons that you can use in this game, all the way from Toy Lightsaber to a Car parked in the parking lot. Everything is there for you to use and you'll need everything you can get your hands on since this game is Hard! The best thing about this game is that you can play it multiple times because depending on who you save, how many you save, if you save anyone changes the main story and the ending dramastically.
- Cons: The con about this game for some people is probably that it could get too hard? I don't find that a problem for me, but if there are some easy going gamers out there then they'd probably might get ticked off at the difficulty of this game and how much you die. The answer is, save whenever you can!
- Other Thoughts: Buy it. You'll enjoy it. Even if you beat the game and don't play it for a while, you'll most likely be going back to it just so you can get your hands on a chainsaw and rip through those crowds of zombies.
