A very average game
- Pros: The graphics, some parts of the story. Forge, Replay and the final cut scene after the credits. The legendary edition Helmet is SWEET! It sits on the case that holds Halo 1, 2 and 3 and it comes with a dust cover.
- Cons: The story was not that great. I finished the game in under 8 hours so its pretty short. Very little original music, most of it is recycled from Halo 1 and 2. I loved Halo 1 and 2 but this game did not live up to the hype.
- Other Thoughts: I loved the Halo franchise. I own Halo, Halo 2, Halo PC, Halo 2 PC and Halo 3. This episode was the worst out of all three. I am reviewing only the solo campaign, not the multi player aspect which I hope is better.
Best of....
- Pros: As good of graphics as you could get considering the size of the maps and the amount of simultaneous activity. Play it on a 1080p LCD HDTV. Musical score, while very similar, was well chosen. Very fun with co-op campaign. Weapons / vehicles have been tweaked quite nicely.
- Cons: It was a quick campaign with co-op. We finished in ~6.5 hours but didn't get all of the skulls, ... that will make the 2nd / 3rd play worthwhile.
- Other Thoughts: I felt the story ended and developed quite well and very "Halo"-esque. The ending -- I won't spoil -- is great...Something of a flashback to the original...Hint...Hint...Warthog. I skip Halo 2 but I can certainly say that this did hit the hype...And I'm no Halo freak as far as hyperventilating over its release. $$$ well spent.

- Pros: If u follow the Trilogy This is a Must have.Cant go wrong..Its Halo3
- Cons: None
good game
- Pros: It works. Better than halo 2. good storyline. awesome action sequences.
- Cons: too easy. not as challenging as halo 2. final boss was weak and can't even be counted as a final boss.
- Other Thoughts: Overall still good. we all know the main aspect of the game is it's multiplayer.
Great Product
- Pros: Packaged nicely no scratches nothing. Cheap worth the purchase.
- Cons: Bungie failed to tell me you need to purchase both map packs to play the other modes online. Which is $19.99 for a 1600 point card or buy straight from microsoft 1 500 point card for $6.25 and 1 1000 point card for $12.50. In the end both map packs will require 1400 MS Points or you wont be able to play certain game modes online IF your playing for online game play.
If not don't worry about it.

Introduction
The Covenant has suffered from Civil war. The Elites have broken away from the Covenant and the Prophets to side with humans against their old masters. Ring-like weapons, known as Halos, stand at the center of the conflict. These Halos were left by the Forerunners, an ancient race of legend, to be used only as a last resort to obliterate the Flood, a sentient all-consuming parasite that has been reawakened.
One Halo has been destroyed and a second has been activated. The Flood looms ever nearer. The Covenant has located Earth, subdued its inhabitants, and found an ancient relic beneath the African sands.
With time and allies running thin, all hope for humanity and the galaxy lie in the hands of Master Chief, Spartan 117…
