Final Fantasy XI is set on the world of Vana'diel which stands on the brink of war. Three nations united against an all powerful enemy, the beastmen. Xbox 360 handles...
- Pros: The game most highly detailed, and renders pictures in beautifull HD. And many many jobs to choose from, and unlock. Lots of quests/missions/fights/pvp. Xbox is good if you dont want to deal with the computer, very smooth running except for small and few areas. (as noted below)
- Cons: Even with REALLY fast internet, and the Xbox 360's powerhouse of a structer. This machine has trouble in areas with more than 400 people attacking, healing, throwing, running around. "Baseiged": Fun new area, this area often has 150-700 people. Which can really slow things down. Which is rare, and happens on the PC often too, but not to worry. If you dont have a 900+ dollar machine. (Excluding OS/programs.)
- Other Thoughts: With such jobs how could you go wrong?(basic): Black Mage, Monk, Red Mage, Thief, Warrior and Whitemage. (Advanced Jobs): Bard, Beast Master, Blue Mage, Corsair, Dark Knight, Dragoon, Ninja, Paladin, Puppetmaster, Ranger, Samurai and Summoner.
(This game is easily played at 3+ Years if your "really" into it!) (I'm on year 3.2~ and have many things left over for me!)
Great Game
- Pros: Great game with an endless amount of quests and missions. The best most well balanced mmorpg I have ever played. The game is always evolving
- Cons: Requires a hugh amount of time to just learn how the game is played and open up all the different jobs.
- Other Thoughts: The PC version has better graphics by changing a few registry settings. Even for the 360 version tt helps to have a PC near by to look up any information you may need.

Pointless
- Pros: None
- Cons: Pointless and misleading. You think you are getting Final Fantasy and you get some huge download junk
Buy this for your PC
- Pros: Fun game with a lot of stuff to do. You can also play only one character and change jobs a lot. Giving your character the best of all worlds. Team fighting is fun
- Cons: Unfortunately the 360 version isn't that great. PlayOnline is also really dumb. Though you'll get used to it and not care, the problems i have with it is that you have to go through more sub menus. Which isn't a big deal, just a waste of time.
- Other Thoughts: The game is pretty much just like any other game. I hear a lot that its the hardest MMO out there. It's not hard because you have to be good at the game, its just hard because well.. it takes forever to level. Expect to waste a lot of time on this game leveling. Is it worth playing? Nah, unless you're one of those people who have to play the game, I'd say pass it up. Play some other MMO or Workout.
This game is actually fun.. but
- Pros: MANY MANY MANY THings to do in this game. If you like adventuring around, meeting people and killing things in a Final Fantasy environment then this game is for you.
- Cons: This game takes alot of time to play. If you're a casual gamer who wants to play a game a month and beat it, then its not for you. You need some serious time in for this thing.
- Other Thoughts: All in all its a good game. Has really good graphics and for a console, it runs really well. You could obviously get a gaming rig and play it, but its not that bad. I own a 120G HD with the 360 and I don't feel the pain with it like I did with my old 20g. Thanks
