Control every aspect from your band's home town, name, logo, playlist and even on-screen persona. Play with 3 other local or online bandmates for in-game cash to spend at the Rock Store to upgrade your performer or compete for band managers, roadies, sound techs or to land that recording deal.
Cooperatively play as lead guitarist, bassist, drummer or vocalist using realistic peripherals – sold separately – with customizable difficulty levels for each player. Hit your combinations to build your Overdrive bonus. If your band can't together, you can hone your skills in "Solo Quickplay" or take on a friend in the competitive "Tug of War" and "Score Duel" modes. Sing and play your way through the over 58 included tracks or the growing library of downloadable online music. Perform tracks from metal to Southern rock to classic rock by artists ranging from the Pixies to the Cars to Judas Priest.
This bundle comes with a guitar controller modeled on the legendary Fender Stratocaster and features a double set of five frets, a whammy bar and an effects switch. It can be used for the lead "axe" or as the bass. The drum controller features four pads which emulate various drum effects along with a functional kick pedal. The USB microphone has authentic heft and lets the player fill in with cowbell or tambourine as appropriate within the music. Both the guitar and drum controllers can be switched for left-handed use.

You must own this game
- Pros: This game is freaking amazing. It is the sole reason I bought an Xbox. If you like Guitar Hero, DDR, or other Bemani games, then you will love this game.
- Cons: You can easily lose track of time when rocking too hard. Me and my friends stayed up to 5am one night.
Why arent you buying this yet?!
- Pros: Its probably the most fun I've ever had with my friends on a video game, ever. Just buy it, its really freaking great!
- Cons: could have a bit more songs and it would be nice if it came with the bass guitar. But whatever, I love it...

Awesome game!
- Pros: Very fun game. Good song collections on the disc as well active download content releases for a very cheap price (1 or 2 bucks). Being a drummer, I found the drumming very accurate to the songs with the exception of double bass parts. Singing is very fun along with your typical Guitar Hero style for Guitar and Bass.
- Cons: First generation drums sucked. In order for the to even be responsive on the "Expert" level fast beats, you need to drape a shirt or cut up a mouse pad to tape on top in order for the game to register the fast notes (and then you gotta hit everything harder). Guitar feels "flimsy" and not very strong.
- Other Thoughts: All in all a very fun game with the exceptions of the flaws in the first generation equipment. New orders should have the revised equipment which fixes the flaws I described in the Cons.
BEST GAME EVER
- Pros: im not kidding. is there a such thing as too much fun? seriously. great songs, great controllers, and you feel like a rock star doing it.
- Cons: there may be some bad lag on your tv if it is old/cheap and if there is, calibrate it in the settings menu by choosing the CALIBRATE MANUALLY option. if you just choose one of the presets it probably wont get any better. before i did this i couldnt play ANY songs on hard. thats not the game's fault so ignore it if you have a fast tv.
- Other Thoughts: buy it. it is among the best videogames out there along with gears and call of duty 4.

- Pros: This game is fun with other people! The drums are quite challenging.
- Cons: The guitar is a lot easier than Guitar Hero.
