Left 4 Dead Game of the Year Edition Xbox 360 Game EA

Pros: You can't go wrong with hoards of zombies coming after you.
First played this right after it originally came out, and just bought it last year, and this still feels like one of those games that is worth playing over and over.

Pros: This is a really fun Zombie FPS that does not take itself too seriously. I love playing this game in co-op with my friends. Its easy to just jump in and play. As far is Offline co-op, its one of the funnest games I have every played with my friends.

Cons: Not much as far as story, but that not why I got this game. I play RPGs for story lines...

Other Thoughts: I am too cheap to pay for Xbox Live, so I have not tried playing online yet.

If you want a fun game to play with your friends, look no further. Also, I just got Left 4 Dead 2 and its amaizing! More guns, fun mele weapons, more special zombies, AI is much smarter, and looks better too! Both are a must have for any FPS fan

Pros: A blast of fun in a shooter, you even have a team running with you either online for real or ai in single player mode and the ai is smart (they actually will try to protect you WOW) that's a rare one in games these days. Absolute blast to play, lots of weapons to have fun with mobs of zombies to blast away at. I totally enjoyed this game. recommend to anyone who loves a shooter and great price and service as always from newegg.

Other Thoughts: Not much to add here will try to update the review after i have fully completed the game, until then i can honestly say if you buy this one ENJOY BLAST THOSE ZOMBIES!!

Pros: This is a fun game to play--I didnt buy part 2 cause of price--I am sure it will be fun to play in a year or so when the price comes down.

Other Thoughts: Get it if you like 1st shooter games--playing 2 players with the split screen is hard to get used to.

Pros: It's a very fun game to buy, and I guess at this price now, it's not so bad. As stated already, buy only if you have a lot friends that play xbox, or if you have live.

Cons: The bots in this game aren't very smart. For example, I was playing through one of the campaigns, a tank knocked me down, and the bots killed the tank. Then they stopped doing anything, while I was still incapacitated. Yeah....
Also, there is no story at all.

Other Thoughts: For $30, I'd definately get. Or maybe wait for the 2nd one (since it's out in a couple of days lol). Up to you.

Pros: Killing zombies is fun. Playing as the infected is fun. The different types of infected are add a unique feel to a zombie shotter. random enemy spawn points adds some replay value.

Cons: There is no story to the game. Campaigns are very short. the feeling of shooting a gun turret is pathetic, normal guns make your controller vibrate but not a turret?

Other Thoughts: I was overall a little disappointed with this game considering all the hype it got. It's a fun game to play online with other people but game of the year I don't think so.

Pros: L4D is an amazing game. Definitely 5 stars. Been playing it since release and own it on both PC and Xbox 360.

Cons: The Game of the Year Edition is a complete scam. The single differance between this and the standard version is that this comes with the Survival Pack, which is a FREE update on Steam and Xbox LIVE.

Other Thoughts: Great for people who have absolutely no access to Internet (You would be able to get it on PC with Dial-up, and DLS or Cable on Xbox LIVE), but I doubt people who are shopping here; and most people who play the game at all, are in that situation.

Pros: Addictive. I think i stayed up 2 days during the weekend playing this...i had so much fun playing with friends online and learning a few game tricks. The hordes are a little intimidating on 'Expert' and they will not stop coming for you. The Tank is an excellent addition to the challenge and fun to watch other team members scramble to safety. It really funny! The Witch is another deadly assassin in this game... one hit gets you down,a nd waiting for someone to help is a bummer sometimes. Weapons and weapon caches are everywhere...the game changes positions every now and then, but you wont run out unless you are the only one shooting. Loads of health packs on easy, not so many on Expert as some would expect. Online connection is seamless for me, i don't think it takes much to connect to the game server, and even with a host you don't get much lag if you yourself are not. Overall, the game is fun if you are into running and shooting zombies, which doesn't get old for me at least.

Cons: Mulitiplayer: People based cons, not the game.
1) You will get crazy team members that shoot you for no reason. Stupidity and arrogance...trash talking...you can always ignore the player but they will find ways to bug anyone unless they are kicked out of the match.
2) Repetitive game style, no real innovation for something new (but some people do try new tactics to attack or defend). Some players have excellent strategies, some don't know whats going on and get killed to quickly...sucks to be on the beat up team.
3) Repetitive campaign, but the replay value is fun non the less (not too much of a con).
4) The story is so incomplete, i'm not sure how or why the zombies are attacking, how the tank became the way it is...why there are only 4 people in the city... All i know is 4 people are alive, trying to escape the cityand a truck or helicopter or plane rescues you after a long battle...you don't even see the rescuer(s).
5) Only a 7 weapon types... bleh! Use wisely...

Other Thoughts: First off, i don't like you EA. I think your games are beyond terrible (besides Crysis), espcially PC games that have DRM. They don't add extra value for the customer, just make something and ship it... Other than that, this game is worth calling "The Game of The Year" because it is that much fun (on the XBOX 360 or PC), and the replay value is there on or offline. Call of Duty: World at War has better zombies, although they are a lot dumber than L4D's zombies. Anyone that says this game is not worth playing is Dead Wrong! This game is a lot of fun and i am still playing it till this day... I can't wait for L4D 2.

Pros: personally i think this game is alot more better for online gameing. though the gameplay is fun.

Pros: This game is really fun and easy to pickup on. The game maps are the only constant in this game. The AI moves the zombies around so it's never the same game twice. Throw in a Tank or a Witch here-and-there and you've got a game that stays challenging. I got this game for Christmas '08. . . My kid and I played it every single day for at least 4 1/2 months. Can't wait for Left 4 Dead 2 in November!!!

Cons: Limited number of weapons, but the fact that the game leaves stuff hidden throughout the maps in varying locatinos makes up for it.
