Fun game
- Pros: It's a very fun game to buy, and I guess at this price now, it's not so bad. As stated already, buy only if you have a lot friends that play xbox, or if you have live.
- Cons: The bots in this game aren't very smart. For example, I was playing through one of the campaigns, a tank knocked me down, and the bots killed the tank. Then they stopped doing anything, while I was still incapacitated. Yeah....
Also, there is no story at all.
- Other Thoughts: For $30, I'd definately get. Or maybe wait for the 2nd one (since it's out in a couple of days lol). Up to you.
Fun game to play online with other people
- Pros: Killing zombies is fun. Playing as the infected is fun. The different types of infected are add a unique feel to a zombie shotter. random enemy spawn points adds some replay value.
- Cons: There is no story to the game. Campaigns are very short. the feeling of shooting a gun turret is pathetic, normal guns make your controller vibrate but not a turret?
- Other Thoughts: I was overall a little disappointed with this game considering all the hype it got. It's a fun game to play online with other people but game of the year I don't think so.
Game of the Year Edition not worth the money
- Pros: L4D is an amazing game. Definitely 5 stars. Been playing it since release and own it on both PC and Xbox 360.
- Cons: The Game of the Year Edition is a complete scam. The single differance between this and the standard version is that this comes with the Survival Pack, which is a FREE update on Steam and Xbox LIVE.
- Other Thoughts: Great for people who have absolutely no access to Internet (You would be able to get it on PC with Dial-up, and DLS or Cable on Xbox LIVE), but I doubt people who are shopping here; and most people who play the game at all, are in that situation.
