Take earth back.An ancient alien race, known only as "Reapers", has launched an all-out invasion leaving nothing but a trail of destruction in their wake. Earth has been taken, the galaxy is on the verge of total annihilation, and you are the only one who can stop them. The price of failure is extinction.

You are Commander Shepard, a character that you can forge in your own image. You determine how events will play out, which planets to explore, and whom to form alliances with as you rally a force to eliminate the Reaper threat once and for all. How you wage this war is completely up to you: go into combat with guns blazing or use cover to plan a more tactical assault. Utilize your squad to full effect or take a lone wolf approach. Rain death from a distance or go toe--to-toe with enemies using devastating melee attacks. Mass Effect 3 will react to each decision you make as you play through a truly unique experience of your own creation. The war for Earth has begun, decide how it ends.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible Series

Pros: Storyline is very deep. It will draw you in to the point where you are excited to progress and see what the characters will do next. You will find yourself completely engrossed in their personalities, histories, and the adventures they go through together. The battle system has improved since the first Mass Effect. Choices made all the way back in the first Mass Effect make big differences in the second and third.

Cons: The only real con I can think of is that one of the key traits of the first Mass Effect was just massive maps. They have been shrunk down and just don't feel as expansive anymore. Sure, the backgrounds look very vivid and open, but it just isn't as explorable.

Other Thoughts: I don't usually have much time for video games anymore, but playing this game was more like reading an amazing book than playing the average mindless shooter. This is true art.

4 out of 5 eggsNice 40" HDTV

Pros: I bought this TV mostly for gaming. In that regard it won't disappoint. There is not input lag at all. The colors are crisp and vivid and there is a plethora of options to adjust different settings to your liking. Network setup was a breeze with zero problems. Sound is as good as it gets for HDTV speakers.

Cons: Blacks could be better. Slight back light bleeding only noticeable on dark scenes, but its there. Some dark scenes on video games might show a little bit of ghosting.

Other Thoughts: Haven't try any 3D movies so I can't comment on that. TV came with two pairs of 3D glasses. Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase. Keep in mind that you could buy a bigger TV at this price point. In my case it's the perfect size from where I sit on my man cave.

5 out of 5 eggsEndign of one of the greatest series ever!

Pros: Fitting end to a trilogy that redefined a gaming genre. Not as many side missions as the previous games.

Cons: DLC "From Ashes" not included, and that was a big story changer.

The ending was less than stellar, but the revised version made a lot more sense.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic game

Pros: This game was awesome, I was able to keep the same character I created and molded from the previous ME 1 and ME 2. I absolutely love that feature. I love that all my decisions from all the games ultimately determined what my ending would be. I'm aware that several people were displeased with the end game. Well I for one loved my ending. Apparently the one I had was by far the best one. Goes to show you, is you make poor decisions. There's a good chance nothing good will come out of it. Lol I love that people were so mad with their bad endings. So flipping hilarious. I didn't always do good deeds, but I think I made the best decisions I could for the greater good. Awesome game!!

Cons: None, the story was great. No bugs, no problems. No need to add new features when the ones they had were already awesome.

Other Thoughts: Buy it!!

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Finish

Pros: There's a lot to like about Mass Effect 3. The combat system is improved (the cover system is now very similar to Gears of War), it includes an entertaining and long-lasting co-op multiplayer mode, and a plot which will keep you riveted and faced with choices of galactic significance.

As an owner of Mass Effect 1 & 2, I was impressed and pleased with the integration of numerous choices from these games into the Mass Effect 3 plotline.

Cons: The ending was kind of lame. It is pre-packaged, not really taking your choices throughout the series into account.

Other Thoughts: Great games are identifiable by the fact that you must nitpick to find flaws.

Overall, I find Mass Effect 3 to be an excellent conclusion to the series.

1 out of 5 eggstoo bad, suckers

Pros: A couple of well-written characters, as per usual for Bioware. Not much else.

Cons: The transformation of Bioware into a hollow shell of its former self is complete. It's not just the ending that sucks; BW couldn't write a consistent plot if they had Shakespeare on staff. The gameplay is so mindless and trivial that a 6 year-old can master it. It's very clear they understand that there are many stupid people in the world and that they can make more money selling them a mediocre game than making a good game for less profit.

Other Thoughts: The 6 year-old mentioned? My neighbor's kid, who breezed through the game over the course of a weekend and said I could have it. I gave her dad a 6-pack as compensation. It's time to face the fact that Bioware's peak was more than 10 years ago and their decline only accelerated when they sold out to EA. If you paid money for this tripe, get therapy.

2 out of 5 eggsThe Lesser of Three Parts

Pros: Its a Mass Effect game, great gameplay, strong story elements, hours of entertainment. The online play is really fun and not just an "add on"

Cons: Brings nothing new to the table. Feels rushed and is the least of the three games in the series proceeded by ME and ME2 (being the best). The ending was terrible and pretty much ensured I won't be playing this game again even though I have played ME and ME2 multiple times. Also, the DLC is really overpriced.

Other Thoughts: I had no choice but to buy this game and finish the series, but if it was a standalone title, I would have waited for it to drop to less than $20...and from the way things's dropping pretty quickly.
