Guitar Hero, the game that started it all - and the third time is a charmer. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock retains the same game play people have come to know and love. Play solo or with another player – local or online - in either cooperative or battle mode. Work your way up to "Rock Legend" in career mode. Play against the real rock guitarists, Slash and Tom Morello in boss battles. More than 70 songs – 54 of them master tracks – are ready to challenge you straight out of the box – and many more are available for download online. Climb Mountain's "Mississippi Queen," or blast through Iron Maiden's "The Number of the Beast," or thrash out Prototype's "The Way it Ends."

Successfully complete songs by hitting the right fret buttons when the color scrolls on-screen to earn in-game cash. This can be used to unlock new guitars, finishes, bonus songs, videos and characters including "The God of Rock" and "The Grim Reaper." Multiple levels of difficulty are available so you can ease your way onto the highway to stardom.

Cons: the co-op career makes you play through, instead of just playing one you unlocked in career

Pros: Very fun game. Easy to catch onto for those new to Guitar Hero. Hours of entertainment. Finally, online play! I've waited for it since the second one was announced. Pretty good graphics.

Cons: Didn't really like the Battle mode too much. Gets fairly expensive when you get the game and two guitars for multiplayer.

Other Thoughts: Didn't change all that much from the second one, but I'm not complaining. Also didn't enjoy the songs as much as the ones from Guitar Hero II. It's not really a bad thing, though, because there are some pretty fun songs on this one.
