Play along with Aerosmith – as Aerosmith – through their musical career in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith for the Xbox 360. Follow the band from its first show at Mendon Nipmuc Regional High School in 1970 to the 2001 Super Bowl XXXV halftime show and their 2001 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band members worked closely with the developers – including participating in motion capture – to create a truly accurate Aerosmith experience.
Over 40 songs – many of them master tracks – make up the set list. While the majority of the tunes are by Aerosmith – including four remastered specifically for the game – the rest were chosen by the band members from acts that have played with Aerosmith, or whom inspired the band.
Gameplay is based on Guitar Hero III with four levels of difficulty and some improvements to the mechanics. Play competitively or cooperatively with another player or go solo with Quickplay and Career mode. The latter features six segments based on periods in the band's history along with a Boss Battle against Joe Perry. Extra content, including videos, is presented throughout the game or can be unlocked along with other band members and guests, such as Run DMC and Lenny Kravitz.
Pros: Well, theres new songs to play in this game, however, the game itself isn't suited towards my age group, and as a result I only know several of the songs...
Cons: Coming from Guitar Hero 3 (and beating TTFAF and TDWDTG on expert AND 4 starring BOTH), and a little bit of Guitar Hero 2, this game is just a re-skinned version of Guitar Hero 3, with new songs, and it features the classic band, Aerosmith.
Other Thoughts: Don't know if this is a pro or con, but there's no option to download songs on XBL. Lastly, I'd just like to add, the few songs I do know are somewhat fun to play... even if it's a whole bunch of new notes to learn >.<

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith
Pros: Graphics are great. Did an awesome job of modeling band members. Like the videos in between career segments. Great song list.
Cons: Dolby Digital encoding is terrible! Sometimes can't even hear the guitar parts. Everything is crystal clear on R.Band. Guitar Hero 3 has the same problem though.
Other Thoughts: This IS Guitar Hero 3 with a modified skin. If you are an Aerosmith fan or just a classic rock fan you'll probably like it. There are some great older songs that I hadn't heard of, but are really cool.
