Brink Xbox 360 Game Bethesda

Pros: Game is OK. Not the best out there but couldn't pass it up for $8.

Cons: Lack of players online.

Other Thoughts: This game didn't get very good reviews but my son has it and we can play multiplayer together. It's nice because he lives out of state.

Pros: Game was cheap.

Cons: I ordered a new copy of the game but what i got was a used rental copy that was resealed to look new.

Other Thoughts: for 4.99, i guess i cant complain too much but it sucks to order something you believe to be new only to get it used. neither the website or receipt say used but thats what i got. also, this is the second time ive posted this, so maybe this one will show up.

Pros: It's Bethesda, so it's beautiful. Also fast pace and team oriented. Run and gun while trying to accomplish mission goal.

Cons: Old game, no one will be online for multiplayer. Also, it wasn't a new concept when it came out. Each "mission" is a battle room with no story.

Other Thoughts: Save your money folks, this title is a near instant trade in with no actual trade in value.

Pros: Awesome movement features focused around the SMART system. Well balanced and fun to play. Good amounts of customization that maintain fair game play. Does a very good job catering to both high and low skill levels. I would recommend this to anyone who likes FPS games but hates dealing with players too high above their skill level.

Cons: Very difficult to get used to the system is not always intuitive and can sometimes feel awkward to achieve your goal. Some minor audio bugs.

Other Thoughts: This game delivers everything it promised. Although it is extremely hard to adjust from a game like CoD to this, the adaptation is well worth it. In games like CoD you can become quickly overwhelmed in games, but in Brink you will never feel that way. Even though snipers can still 1 shot kill at times, the need to cover objective areas forces snipers to constantly move and not maintain a vantage point. The addition of abilities and traits also adds a dynamic that allows you to play in your own style without a handicap. The one thing that really made me unhappy (even though it is insignificant) is the lack of usefulness of the customization feature. Sure, you can customize your gun, but very few actually provide any real benefit to your gun. Most (the sniper scope for example) provide several large disadvantages (VERY slow draw speed, loss of accuracy and stability) for a very very minor benefit (tiny boost to range) which make you almost worse for having them.

Pros: Multiple classes with expandable/tunable skill sets make for great team play. Objective based goals are a great switch up from straight out deathmatch. Being able to climb over just about anything that has a ledge within reach.

Cons: The sound effects are often a broken mess of static at the start of matches.

Controls are wonky... Sometimes controller input is extremely laggy, other times you will find yourself overshooting targets or moving past your intended stop point. To make matters worse the games AI can't make up its mind on whether you should automatically climb on top of an object or require that you pres/hold 'A', so simply running to close to an object may send up and over at a 90 degree tangent.

As far as I can tell there is no way to build a party "before" starting a match so if you don't have full boat starting a public match and trying to get a friend into the same match is problematic.

Other Thoughts: Brink has good potential as a cooperative team based shooter. It is going to need a patch or three to get there though.
