2 out of 5 eggsOld habits die hard.

Pros: Good graphics, large character roster, fun gameplay and great price on Newegg.

Cons: Do you even have to ask? Capcom has already announced they will release a retail only update of this game called Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. This updated version will include new characters, extra outfits & new game modes. You can just about guarantee most players online will abandon this game once the new one is released, as was the case with first version of Street Fighter 4.

Other Thoughts: Here we go again, ... again. I learned a long time ago to never buy any Capcom game when it is first released, they will always release a better version at a reduced price within the same year.

2 out of 5 eggsmvc2 was better

Pros: still fun

Cons: No spectator mode, that means you cant watch anyones match while your waiting in the lobby. This is a major game killer.

To switch out with assist you have to HOLD the assist button which does not make it instant.

Game play feels restrictive and not as free as mvc2, and assists are just no where near the same in quality.

Sentinel is way over powered, he can kill any character in one combo, for example popup jab jab, neutral sp knockdown low rocket punch drone super, if they are not dead you can just xfactor cancel dash plasma ball super one toon down, you can mix up that combo and im sure that just a noob 100% combo with him lol.

Other Thoughts: Capcom says there is no spectator mode because it would lag. MvC2 on xbox has spectator mode and to me that has alot more going on this MvC3. MvC3 feels like everyone has their cookie cutter combo and you cant go outside the box on that unlike mvc2 where odds are if you can think it it can happen.

5 out of 5 eggssatisfied

Cons: hope they increase the roster and add ken, plus possible other characters on xbox live. and update the lobby so when you jion a session waiting for your turn to play, you can watch the match not cards dancing and life bars.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Good roster of characters, combos are relatively easy to pull off.

Cons: No tutorial for newbies, Mission Mode can get very frustrating, online will dominate you just about every time.

Other Thoughts: I'm no expert on fighting games. I play occasionally, but haven't taken the time to memorize combos or learn the intricate ins and outs of the game, but it's still fun to pick up and mash buttons.
