In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the world was introduced to Darth Vader’s now fugitive apprentice, Starkiller—the unlikely hero who would ignite the flames of rebellion in a galaxy so desperately in need of a champion. In the sequel, Starkiller returns with over-the-top Force powers and embarks on a journey to discover his own identity and to reunite with his one true love, Juno Eclipse. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Starkiller is once again the pawn of Darth Vader—but instead of training his protégée as a ruthless assassin, the dark lord is attempting to clone his former apprentice in an attempt to create the Ultimate Sith warrior. The chase is on – Starkiller is in pursuit of Juno and Darth Vader is hunting for Starkiller. With all-new devastating Force powers and the ability to dual-wield lightsabers, Starkiller cuts a swath through deadly new enemies across exciting worlds from the Star Wars films - all in his desperate search for answers to his past.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointing sequel...

Pros: - Good graphics, effects, and soundtrack
- Decent story premise

Cons: - Far too short
- Very repetitive
- Although the premise was decent, the overall story was not complex or well-executed in my opinion
- Voice acting did not seem quite right, rather forced and like it was recorded in a poor audio studio
- Pointless tie-in with Yoda on Dagobah
- Controls/moves were a bit different than before and I didn't care for the changes

Other Thoughts: I picked this game up because it was cheap, but I'm not sure it was worth 1/3 of the original retail price to be honest. I was able to beat in just a couple of hours. The concept was decent, but it felt like a hurried and incomplete product. It could have been so much more. I hope that the 3rd and final game to the series is better.

3 out of 5 eggsShort

Pros: Fun game, has a good sense of humor for something set in the star wars universe (example: there is an achievement called "valet!" that requires you to throw a parked tie fighter into an AT-ST. Lets you import your costumes from first game, which is cool. There are some cool set piece battles, and most bosses are unique encounters.

Cons: Short. There is some DLC (Battle for Endor) available for like $1 that added about an hour and a half, but I had this thing beat (Including challenges) in about 6 hours on Hard mode. I got the game for about half MSRP, but if I'd paid $60 for a 6 hour game I'd be pretty upset. Also the Dagobah level is pointless and could have been a cutscene for all that you do there, big missed opportunity in my opinion. I don't know what happened to Starkillers voice actor, but he either had a lobotomy or this is some knock off replacement. Voice acting was horrible compared to the first game, which really hurt how much you are vested in the character, since you don't believe anything they are saying.

Other Thoughts: Its fun, just don't expect earth shattering, quality storytelling, or a very long game.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT !! ..... But ....

Pros: Fun GAME !! a few Down loadables that are out now, dont know if more is coming ? doubtful . Tons of easy achievements. If you liked the first or are a star wars fan then you will like this !! WAY better then the first !!! There is even a extra down loadable mission to play after you have beaten the game. Tons of down loadable costumes to. A nice handful of Challenges to play as well, some call them time trials.

Cons: SHORT !!! Not much replay, no multi player. Once you have all of your achievements not much reason to play it. Over all a GOOD game tho. Would recommend !! but is VERY short.

Other Thoughts: If your a fan or like to collect games ... buy it. If you hate short games but like the first or just wanna try something new... RENT it.

3 out of 5 eggsmeh

Pros: Outstanding gameplay, great graphics, reorganized force upgrade system is simpler which is easier to work with

Cons: Far, far, far too short. And the storyline wasn't compelling in the least bit. They took out a lot of old content that was interesting to replace it with some content that isn't, namely new, repetitive forms of enemies. Also, the reorganized force upgrade system is probably too simple.

Other Thoughts: Three eggs might be a little generous.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Graphics were pretty good and the fighting was definitely better

Cons: Extremely short. I beat it in 5 hrs or less... and there's nothing to do after you beat it. Would have been great if the game was made longer with a more in depth storyline like the first one. The first one was MUCH better.

2 out of 5 eggsShort and almost no variety

Pros: Its s Star Wars game!

Cons: Way to short, they said there was going to better variation and killing styles than the first and theres actually less, you fight the same enemy over and over and always do the same killing move. this game only has about 3 bosses.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the $60 only worth maybe $30

2 out of 5 eggsQuick but kind of worth it...

Pros: The greatest thing about the game was the quality in graphics and the abilities gained throughout the game. The simplicity of the game was much better than the previous version. The aspect that LucasArts implemented, "less is more", seemed to play out for this game. Unlike some people, I liked the story.

Cons: Way too short... I pretty much beat the entire game while my wife was at class. Her class is three hours long for reference. Wish there was more to the game once you finished it, for example multiplayer or online version.

Other Thoughts: I know lots of people are talking about how short the game is and I completely agree. There is nothing else to do with the game once you beat it except go back and beat it again.

Imagine this:
At 5:30PM I went to my mail box and got the mail which had this game in it. I then had a quick bite to eat and saw my wife off to class. I started playing the game right at 6PM when my wife left. During the game I got a quick snack, got a few drinks and before I knew it, my wife was back at 9:30 PM. Next thing I know, I am watching the last cut-scene of the game and I am back at the main menu. Looking at the clock, it was 10:25 PM. It took me less than four and a half hours to beat the game.

The only urge I have to play the game is for the amazing scenery and graphics. Other than that, I would rent it and play it. I would not buy it.
For the shortness of the game and play quality, I would give it 1 egg. For scenery and graphics, I would give it 4 eggs and for game play, 2.5 eggs.

5 out of 5 eggsUnder-rated or high expectations?

Pros: All features from the first game have been made better. Better graphics, force powers, swordplay, etc. If you liked the first then you will like this game. If you like Star Wars then you'll like it too. If you didn't like the first then YOU WILL NOT LIKE IT, duh. The story is DIFFERENT, not bad. It tells a side story that takes place between SW 3 and 4 and so its obviously just created for entertainment.

Cons: It is short. Estimated at 6 hours unless you're a speed player that ignores checking out everything. People say its short but honestly very few single player games last longer than 6 hours these days unless they are RPGs or sandbox. Get over it. Some say the ending isn't canon but its not the end. There is going to be a third to tie it all up just like any other series.

Other Thoughts: I think people had to high of expectations for this game and that has caused a backlash. People like to forget that the last few single player games were also just 6 hours long and lash out. This isn't Fallout or Mass Effect you know. Know what you're buying and don't get all bent when it doesn't meet your awe inspiring awesomeness expectations because nothing ever will.
