Tom Clancy's elite counterterrorism squad is back in Sin City in Rainbow 6 Las Vegas 2. You take on the role of Bishop, a veteran member of Rainbow and you can customize his appearance. And, exclusive to Xbox, you can use the Xbox Live Vision camera to place your face onto Bishop and literally get into the game. Take on the challenges –solo or in co-op play. Experience points are earned in all game modes online or offline. You or a friend can jump in or out at any time – without affecting the storyline.

Go beyond the neon glow of Vegas at night with real time day/night cycles and missions that take you into the seedier side of Vegas in the scorching sun, the Nevada desert at sundown and around the world. The environments are sharply rendered and destructible. Soft cover can be penetrated by weapons fire, so be careful where you take cover. The game adapts to your style with "Advanced Combat Enhancement and Specialization" or ACES which tracks your kills and unlocks weapons that best fit your combat style, whether marksman, assault or close-quarter combatant.

Take the fight online with additional maps and 2 new game modes including "Attack and Defend." Three difficulty levels, plus improved online matchmaking and ranking make it easier to locate and join online games already underway - putting you in the thick of the action.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat so far!

Pros: ok just got it today and i have high hopes for the game... the points system seems to be a great improvement and the additional weapons as well (bout time we got a suppressed sniper rifle! =D) the grafics are the usual tom clancey games... which is great. it didnt take long to hop right in and feel at home like the previous rb6v.... the one thing i love is the sprint button, no more running and getting caught up and shot like before.... if you loved the first one you wont be dissapointed.

Cons: the only thing i could pull out so far is that it would be nice to have more than one customization to the weapons.... dont get me wrong but it would be nice to have high capacity mags and at least a lazer sight or acog with it instead of iron sights, but ohh well it happens.... also the typical glitches occur with the game like rb6v everyone knows that your running around and out of nowhere a terrorist will pop up right behind you or stich his gun thru a closed door and shoot you and thats all she wrote... but it rarely happens so again not a big thing to complain about.

Other Thoughts: tom clancey and newegg always deliver and havent had a bad experience yet. i dont know why they have casual on rb6v2 tho ??? if you played the first either start on realistic or norma is just fine to get used to it again.... again if your a fan of rb6v then youll love the second .... its deffinetly worth the money!

4 out of 5 eggsGood game over all

Pros: The game is a very great team tactical shooter.
Your ability to customize your armor, colors, and appearance is pretty awesome. You can even take it as far as to upload a photo of yourself for your character model.

Terrorist hunt was a winner in my book. After finishing the story, TH is the only thing I play with my friends. You get a taste of what it would be like in real life.

Cons: The controls are a little funny at first.
Multiplayer is dead sometimes, which makes the online achievements hard to get due to the fact you need 6 players for most of them.

Other Thoughts: Buy the game. The story will have you hooked. The game play is amazing. Must have.

4 out of 5 eggsTactical Sweetness

Pros: Good FPS. I like that this game provided more of a tactical feel to the game. It wasn't too hard nor was it easy by any means. The story plot was a bit weak but the actual play made up for it. The level of stealth involved made the game more interesting. The game was also a bit long. Weapons were very customizable.

Cons: Enemy combat for medium to long range was a bit weak. It was fairly simple to peak around a corner and tag an enemy.

Other Thoughts: Overall this was a very good game. Defiantly worth the $60. Although I didn't play multiplayer b/c my school doesn't support live, I've heard the multiplayer is even better than the campaign.

5 out of 5 eggsOne of the Best Multiplayer Games for the 360, Period

Pros: Without a doubt my favorite multiplayer game currently out for the 360. If you've played Vegas 1 (which I thought was awesome), this is pretty much an improved version of the same game. The levels are asymmetrical, yet well balanced, the weapons all play differently, yet are balanced as well, the firepower of the weapons is just right, not as low as in cod4 standard, yet not killed-by-one-pistol-bullet-in-the-ankle high, like in cod4 hardcore, the character customization I've always liked has been maintained, and last, the new game types that have been added (team leader in particular) add much to the game and reward true teamwork.

Cons: Vegas 2 contains most of the flaws of Vegas one. The levels are pretty much exclusively CQC. Most levels have AN open space, mabye 2, so if you like to snipe, you'll basically be limited to one place per level. Also, the single player is still as boring as ever. Those are the only significant cons, but there are a few other minor annoyances. First, breaching charges have been removed, so in explosive free games its become possible to merely stand in front of a metal door and permanently block it. Second you can still only choose only one accessory per gun, and only logical accessories at that, Part of the fun of customization is the ability to devise unique weapons, such as sniper rifles with red dot sights, revolvers with high power scopes, ect. Lastly, they still haven't gotten rid of tear gas, the single most annoying weapon ever devised.

Other Thoughts: Though I listed it with the pro's, the fact that this game pretty much IS Vegas 1, could just as well be a con. If you didn't like Vegas 1, don't even bother playing this one. Also, since Vegas 2's one player is so terrible, and its not the sort of game that can be played well split screen, unless you plan to play it on live, forget it.

1 out of 5 eggsJust aweful

Pros: The graphics of the players

Cons: Did they spend anytime what so ever on the background graphics? I mean, I haven't seen stuff like that since the N64. The story is terrible. The online is awful. I liked the first online, I only had a few complaints (i.e. no party up system for ranked games, poor maps). None of those complaints were addressed and now I have even more (i.e. one respawn in team death match, I mean really?)

Other Thoughts: Everyone told me I needed to be patient with the game and let it grow on me. For $60 a game better be fun the first time I put it in the tray. I resold to a guy for $50 after one week of it.

3 out of 5 eggspk demon

Pros: cool movement/control interface, cool, guns, cool game modes.... same cool stuff as V1

Cons: The enemy spawn system is absolutely awful. On coop terrorist hunt / story mode, the enemies will spawn waaaaaaay too late. I was having guys just 'appear' out of thin air directly next to me or worse, behind me. I thought the story mode could have been done a lot more. Like most gamers, I like to play through the entire game b4 I start doing live stuff. My buddy and I played through it on the highest difficulty in just a (what seemed like) few hours. The enemy AI was poor. They were a lot more aggressive, but weren't tactical at all when compared to the AI in V1. JMHO.

Other Thoughts: Don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE rainbow fan and I highly recommend this game.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: Well, new storyline. It was kinda nice that it tied in with R6V1. Other than that nothing is new. I'm giving this 4 based on the fact that this was after playing CoD4 since release. So I was happy about new gameplay. Also would be 4 stars for anyone who was a big fan of the first one. If you're not, then I'll give it a 3. About 10 new guns are in it as well. Character customization is, once again, pretty nice. Alotta new clothes and stuff.

Cons: Graphics, most guns, gameplay, latency problems, host problems, and cheap guns from R6V1 are still there. If you had no patience for it the first game, don't buy this game, cuz it's the same. Again, I was just glad it was a change from CoD4 lol. It's not really a game for someone if you've played the first one and not liked it.

Other Thoughts: Multiplayer FREAKING OWNS, as long as you get a good connection to host, a FAIR host, and a nice relaxed considerate team. Since you get to stay in the lobby with your team, if it's a GOOD team, you're in for a nice afternoon/morning/night.

5 out of 5 eggsThis game is "Da Bomb"

Pros: New ranking system adds replayability galore. Same non-stop action with a few additions. Plenty of goodies and players are now customizable! If you liked the first Rainbow Six Vegas, you'll LOVE the sequel.

Cons: Terrible storyline (if any). Relatively short single player. Says 2-4 player co-op on the back of the case but only 2 players can do story mode at the same time?! Freezes on older systems, and the final battle drops FPS to unplayable levels.

Other Thoughts: Had 3 of my friends each buy a copy. Multiplayer terrorist hunts are challenging and the fun is endless. Although still imperfect, you can't deny Rainbow Six Vegas is plain old FUN.
