best game of 09 so far (except killzone 2)
- Pros: great graphics, great story line, love the gameplay, a great length i beat it on hard with about 18 hours of gameplay but I have no life so for the average person it will take them longer also I think this is the best multiplatform game of 09 and overall the story line lays out nicely
- Cons: just very litte things but most people wouldn't notice them. Like how many henchman the bosses seem to have, seems like an un realistic amount but I play on hard and what game would it be with out enemies.
- Other Thoughts: im speaking for the single player only cause I haven't played the multiplayer I have no live time. Also for those of you who are having trouble with the civil war missions, those are the hardest parts in the game so just stick to it and it after the civil war parts it is easier.
Beware of Halo Fanbois
- Pros: Great Visuals, the sets, sounds, and atmoshpere comes screaming right out your favorite John Wayne and Eastwood flicks. great Single Player Game, models and voicework a bit choppy at times and some hefty cutscenes, AI is predictable and it doesnt rewrite any concepts of the FPS genre but adapts a hardy, manly, gritty western adventure that is worth the entire 6 - 8 hours and worth a second playthrough to get both brothers stories.
- Cons: multiplayer is sparsely populated, some classes are hugely unbalanced, some are worthless. great concepts and gameypes in the Legends mode but just not enough polish and luster to make it worth much more than a quick in and out play, the fact that after every match it closes your session back to the menu just akes you want to not play it again. besides being a bland multiplayer platform the only major drawback is the insanely bad decision not to make this a COOP game. it SCREAMS everything about it is designed for it, major fail in not providing it.
- Other Thoughts: great game that was beautifully rendered to provide a western adventure that we can be a part of not just watch on a screen, strap on your leather, saddle up, and go pick this up at the nearest trading post
Fun Game
- Pros: Fun Game with a good storyline. I think the graphics are really good. Online play is a blast.
- Cons: None at the moment

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, is the prequel to the Wild West action shooter Call of Juarez. As the McCall brothers, players enter a doomed quest for the legendary Gold of Juarez leading them from a ravaged Georgia during the Civil War to the Aztec ruins of Mexico. They make their lawless trail into the wildest West ever depicted, using their gunslinging skills and killing all of those that stand before them. But when the brothers face lust, their bond of blood feels thinner than ever…
Become a Gunslinger – Harness a variety of weapons from various pistols to heavy-caliber cannons and machine guns. Every accurate shot increases your concentration, which allows you to unleash deadly shooting modes when outnumbered and even deadlier ones when the brothers work together.
Dual Collaborative Gameplay – Choose to embody Ray or Thomas, each with a distinctive gameplay style (close or long range), specific abilities (lasso, dynamite, etc.) and arsenal of deadly weapons (dual guns, long-range carbine, etc.). Take advantage of each of their strengths and join in the fiercest fights imaginable.
Uncharted Territory – Experience the iconic settings full of outlaws – the West before it was tamed. The McCall brothers face a renegade Apache Chief, a greedy Mexican bandit, and a vindictive Colonel, all driven by greed with moral disregard. Enjoy a wide variety of situations, using horses, canoes and wagons to explore the open natural landscapes of the mythical Wild West and its legendary period.
Innovative Western-Themed Multiplayer – Gunslingers, bandits and marshals struggle online for the bounty. Multiple characters are unlocked for team-based objective modes or the straightforward team deathmatch. Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood introduces a Bounty system, which sees players increase the bounty on their head with more kills. Get rid of the deadliest among you to increase your bank roll! |
