Better than expected

5 out of 5 eggs
I was expecting a small game, like a DLC but a little bigger... It's not though, it's a full game.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat game, few flaws

Pros: This game is just beautiful. The graphics, the animations, the scenery, are all fascinating examples of graphics. This game is just fantastic.

Cons: I once encountered a bug while trying to assassinate a guard while jumping off of a wall. The guard tried to block the assassination move, and I ended up stuck in the falling animation with only the ability to turn eagle vision on and off and grappling. I was very sad.

Other Thoughts: Get this game instantly. But play Assassin's Creed II first.

5 out of 5 eggsBrilliant

Pros: The game is excellent. The ability to free roam, and assassinate as many borgia guards as possible is good. At first thought the whole idea of the game (DNA memory part) was appalling - but it grew on me.

Cons: Cut scenes can be annoying - especially given the extended load times for the following game. During battle, a lag in combat moves can get a little annoying but not too bad.

Other Thoughts: No problem with Newegg. Delivery was prompt. I would have liked the ability to complete more side quests in the game - perhaps to influence support of the people...

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Assassin's Creed is the reason I still have my Xbox. This game is an excellent sequel to Assassin's Creed 2, which was fantastic. The added features are pretty neat, and the gameplay is as expected tremendous fun.

Cons: I'll admit that the painting selection for Ezio's hideout was a bit disappointing compared to AC2... :p

Other than that, not much.

Other Thoughts: Assassin's Creed has a combat system that is rather easy yet very fun. I like the fact that this isn't a game where you should expect to die a lot.

I haven't had a chance to try the MP, but it sounds cool.

5 out of 5 eggsDidn't Disappoint

Pros: Graphics Quality
Storyline
Character's Abilities

Cons: Occasional slow loading
A few glitches that took a while for UBISOFT to resolve (one of which can get you stuck in Monterigoni unable to get back into Aenimus) assuming all resolved by now.

Other Thoughts: Great game, more difficult (for perfectionists) than AC 2 due to Sync now having percentages depending on how much you correctly complete of the missions. I have to admit I've given up on completing some at 100%, but luckily you can come back to redo upon beating the game.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing detail

Pros: I just got back from Italy and it was amazing walking through the locations that are in the game because they are almost exactly the same. It was unbelievable how accurate it was!
The game itself has come a long way from the first and I keep playing it although I have beat it. The additional adventures they release keeps the game fresh over a longer period of time.

Cons: The Multiplayer is so different from the game and not nearly as fun.

Other Thoughts: Play the game before you ever travel to Italy. It will make the trip that much more fun.

5 out of 5 eggsMulti-layered, Engaging Game

Pros: Continues right from where AC2 left off. Detailed, open environment set in turn-of-16th-century Rome. Interesting historical trivia mixed in with politicized fiction. Cameo's from the historically famous and infamous. Hours and hours of side quests (you can even train your own assassin recruits). Intriguing plot and easy-to-use mechanics.

Cons: Targeting and movement mechanics haven't changed from AC2 and still can send you unintentionally jumping off high buildings, killing innocent civilians, unable to climb, and unable to tell if you're in attack mode or not. Puzzles can also be impossibly difficult to do without online help.

Other Thoughts: The minor cons can be overcome through regular use and accepting anomalies. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable game for those who appreciate a fully developed game.

4 out of 5 eggsMultiplayer finally here!

Pros: Multiplayer: I'm usually very wary when developers convert a single player game that is amazing, and add multiplayer feature to it. But they did it, and let me tell you, that in my very humble opinion, this game is worth it solely for the multiplayer feature. Is really FUN, addictive, and balanced. I read some other review complaining about the levels, well, that's the same in every other game out there, but I actually think is balanced pretty good, if you have some skills, you can beat other players with more powers and abilities. And if you have previous experience with AC, that's a plus, because then you have better "stealth" ability.
Single Player: looks as good as ACII was, and it started right after ACII ended, so the plot is still there for you to unfold. Honestly I haven't played much the single player because I've been hooked with the multiplayer, and I really can't say enough how cool it is!!

Cons: Multiplayer: Sadly, the part I love the most about the game, has a certain issue that keep me from giving it 5 stars, and is the darn MatchMaking! It is really slow! If you are used to Modern Warfare/Halo matchmaking system that gets you in the game within seconds, you'll gonna have a hard time with this one. One piece of advice though: NEVER use the "Join Now" option, I've been waiting for a game for up to 20min and gave up! Instead, use the search option for Ranked Match directly, Manhunt being the best. That will give you a game a lot faster (still, I think it takes too long).

Other Thoughts: If you liked the previous, just buy it. It continues where ACII left, and it has one of the most enjoyable multiplayer experiences (except for the matchmaking) that I've ever had. Is a good change from the shooters or RPG coop.
If you haven't played the previous games, buy it as well. The friend that convinced me to get it had never played AC before, and he is hooked! Just saying =]

Pros: Pretty cool game. Good game play and great graphics. I'm only a bit into the story so far, so I can't comment on that or the multi play.

Cons: No Cons so far.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Great single player experience as always, new additions really make it interesting, and control scheme is the same. Always has an atmosphere to it and gives you a sense of actually doing something exciting and important. Story is great, as far as it is explained or understood, and there's simply so much extra stuff to do to make you feel accomplished. Multiplayer is challenging and a bit weird, but exhilarating and fun after you've played it a bit.

Cons: Can be difficult to replay as you HAVE to do a lot of stuff. I only found the extra stuff fun when I was doing it in-between the main story line; after I beat the game, it seemed a bit weird or pointless to do stuff, and I'm not an achievement you know what. There are always minor flaws that don't need to be pointed out. And the multiplayer, while it is fun overall, can be kind of frustrating and I believe flawed fundamentally. I like the idea of leveling, but the abilities can be kind of overpowered. It would be more balanced if there were no levels and all abilities were gimped to an extent.

Other Thoughts: Also, while the multiplayer is supposed to be and can be best played while focusing and being patient, it is really split between two different types of players (or personalities) type a and b.
A is hyperactive and from what I've experienced is the majority of players, they will run around and cause chaos but in the end get kills because they act quickly and reactively. And B represents the minority of players who are true assassins and which A cannot possibly defeat in tactics. But I usually find it difficult to get kills while being patient, simply because if you want to have the most kills, you have to play like the idiot running wild -- getting kills but getting killed.
