Loud - Junk
- Pros: NONE!
- Cons: Not only was this cheap trash loud, it broke after a month of use. I've never bought a bigger piece of trash.
- Other Thoughts: Spend your money on something else. Anything else. This product is relatively cheap for a reason.
LOUD!!!
- Pros: None.
- Cons: This adapter was comically loud. The fact that a company would sell this noise maker and think the amount of noise produced is acceptable makes Intec a joke in my book. I connected the AC adapter to my 360 and couldn't believe it. I have to turn the sound up on my tv to hear anything over the stead drone of the built-in fans on the power supply. The amount of noise is just completely absurd. And the cord is short.
- Other Thoughts: Buy ANYTHING but this replacement AC Adapter.
Low-grade Power Supply
- Pros: Has better cooling than a stock power supply for the Xbox 360.
- Cons: Died after three months of regular usage.
- Other Thoughts: I bought this power supply as a replacement for my stock Xbox 360 power supply. I had no problems for three months then all of a sudden my Xbox 360 cuts out and I get the three rings (hardware failure) on my 360. I unplugged the power supply and then replugged the power supply back in to see if it would come back on, but I heard 2 or 3 loud pops come from the power supply and the LED light on the power supply was off (not orange, green, or red). I immediately unplugged my 360 and am presently stuck in the process of getting my Xbox 360 and power supply replaced.
From the description this seems like a logical choice to replace a stock power supply, or even upgrade to this one since it has better airflow, but in this case it certainly doesn't appear to be as good as it sounds it is.
