Pros: Previously reported a Sega style layout, the actual layout is a Namco Noir layout (as found on the Tekken 6 BR machines). Swap-outs are still easy, but I have to loosen slack on some wires for the panel to top-load. Everything else in my other review stands.

There's a button that lets you change whether or not the right-most buttons correspond to right-stick clicks

Cons: Wired. The panel does not top-load read the next section.

Other Thoughts: The chassis is connected to the top board with a screw and a nut. If you unscrew the panel from the top, the nut will fall into the chassis and you will not be able to screw the bolt back in. That being said, if you need to swap any parts or mod the controller, you will need to flip it over and remove the 8 screws (1 is hidden under the warranty label... don't remove the 4 screws that bolt in the rubber feet). That being said, the 4/8 way gate is easily accessible, as are the buttons. Not the friendliest panel when it comes to modding, though. I haven't attempted a dual-mod on it, but it has a little less space inside than other sticks.

Basically - don't try to remove the top-panel. Maintenance needs to be done by removing the bottom panel. I suggest using the crating that comes with the controller to suspend it, instead of resting it against the JLF lever. For things that require soldering, you should probably remove the JLF entirely.

Pros: Sanwa JLF lever and OSBF buttons, Sega-style layout. Top and bottom plates are aluminum. The chassis is plastic, but definitely not flimsy. Top-loading, 6xA4 hex pan-headed bolts per the Hori standard. The inside is wired nicely for easy swap-outs (and gate adjustments per the square gate vs. octo gate feud). Button cover for start button and recessed panel for the turbo/mode switch buttons - absolutely zero excuse to hit guide or start with this stick. Wired, but has a nice compartment to store the cord.

Around the same size as the MadCatz TE. The pictures do not do the stick justice, it is absolutely not flimsy.

Excellent, and on sale price, absolutely amazing!

Other Thoughts: Aesthetics - definitely picked out the fan favorites from their VX series and years of HRAP comments. This stick is a hybrid of the two. Absolutely wonderful.
