3 out of 5 eggsDid the job, but way too brittle.

Pros: - Descent Sound
- Ear Cups are fairly comfortable, was able to wear them for long periods of time.

Cons: As said these are descent gaming headphones, but way too flemsy.. i've owned 4 pair of these, with the original two being sent back to Turtle Beach for RMA replacement. They both broke on left adjuster arm above the left cup. The cheap plastic cannot take day to day wear and tear for more than 6 - 8 months. Given i did wear these almost daily for 1 - 6 hours a day, i would expect simple take on / take off use to not break these headphones. The 2 RMA models also broke in the same spot. Good components, bad materials holding them together.

4 out of 5 eggsHappy with the product.

Pros: The item was as described well packaged no problems.

Cons: This seller is not open on weekends. I paid for a 3 day delivery from new egg not knowing this. It wasn't mentioned anywhere on the sellers profile or the order from new egg. Just a heads up to anyone ordering that wants their order faster. The seller didn't even acknowledge that I had placed an order for several days or even charge me for the order. It was after I had sent them an email asking what was taking so long that my order finally was completed and my card charged and another several days after that before the item was delivered again after the weekend. Because they are not open weekends. Hope this helps the next buyer avoid some confusion and delays. :)

3 out of 5 eggsPretty good overall, but probably not for everyone.

Pros: * Good audio quality.
* Long cord. Some people complain that it's too long, and while it's true that it is much longer than any person should ever need, it's not really a problem. It initially came wrapped with a little strip of Velcro, which works perfectly to contain the unwanted portion of cord distance. Simply bundle however much of the cord you don't need and wrap the Velcro strip around it and you'll be fine.
* Adjustable volume dial on the cord.
* Doesn't squash your ears.

Cons: * Requires USB to work.
* The audio plug is too close to the USB plug, meaning while I had the USB plugged into my computer, it was too far away from my monitor to plug into that. Because of this, I was forced to plug the audio directly into my PC instead of into my monitor like I would any normal headphones. What this means is that I've been unable to use speakers at all since using this headset, because it is simply too cumbersome to reach behind my PC to swap out the audio cables any time I want to use speakers instead of the headset.
* Volume dial is very easy to bump, causing the volume to be changed to unwanted levels often.
* Squashes your skull. While I appreciate that the headphones sit around your ears instead of on top of them, it is still far too tight. I've had these for nearly 2 years now and I've finally started to feel a little more comfortable in them only recently. Up until a few weeks ago, I was actually wearing socks between me and the headphones to cushion my head; yes, socks wedged between my ears and headphones. The cushions around the speakers are relatively soft, but all the softness in the world matters not when it is simply pressed too tightly against the head with no way of adjusting outward.
* On that note, I really expected these to last me longer than they have. While the headset has not completely broken (yet), it has cracked on one side, the plastic portion a little above the speakers, the part that can be adjusted up and down for taller heads. I've resorted to adjusting the cracked portion upwards in an attempt to better protect it while it is inside the higher area, but this only makes wearing them even less comfortable. Now if only these weren't so tight or if it were possible to adjust it for wider heads, this would not have happened. It is only a matter of time before the crack snaps in two and the product will become completely unusable.

Other Thoughts: I didn't use the microphone at all, as my webcam mic is just fine, so I can't comment on that aspect.

2 out of 5 eggsNOT FOR PC

Pros: Very comfortable, only hurt my head when trying to eat wearing it, great quality audio

Cons: STATIC. so much static, when gaming you can't hear it so its tolerable, but when no sound is coming out static is terrible. After some research i learned the static is caused from interference between the usb plug in and 3.5mm plug in for this headset (has both, yet another con)

Other Thoughts: I'm sure this would be an amazing console headset, but do yourself a favor and buy a headset that won't give you this much static on pc.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Darn Good

Pros: - Not overly large
- Easy hookup

Cons: -None

Other Thoughts: I got these locally when I sold my main I7 rig and put together a rig from some parts I had ordered here before with a 4670k and an I5 4670. My nice soundcard went with the sold rig, and I was stuck for now with onboard sound. I saw a pair of these sitting in the XBOX section of the local store here store and googled the model and reviews on my Samsung S5. They looked decent so I decided to try them out. I was really surprised with what you get quality wise for around $60.00 you get a nice headset/mic with the USB amplifier and standard green/pink hookups - which was nice.No issues or loss of sound quality on my front panel USB line/MIC ports of a Coolermaster Elite 430.

The amplifier nicely boosts whatever onboard sound/soundcard you have these hooked up to. In my case -- it's Realtek ALC 892. Don't get me wrong the sound isn't quite as good as the Asus Xonar - Grado setup I was using before but it's about 90-95% of the quality most of the time for normal to mid-high volume levels. Bass works nice, as do the inline volume and mic controls, and best of all it completely frees up my one extra usable PCIe slot that can be used on the mATX MSI Z87M G43 board I have. Movies and PC games sound great!

I do highly recommend this headset for the PC gamer if you are in a pinch for something new or need space on your motherboard. You won't regret it!

1 out of 5 eggsCannot beleive the high ratings

Pros: The software works out of the box. No issues when you have speakers plugged into the rear of the PC and headphones in the front. Extra long cables allow you to use the toilet in the other room without taking off the headset. Your head will feel amazing once you take these off.

Cons: The ear cushions on these are like rocks. I can only wear them for twenty minutes before I have to give my head a break. The sound quality is awful. The headset makes the audio sound like it is being broadcast over an AM radio station. I suspect the long cord is not properly insulated and is acting as an antenna and broadcasting noise.

Other Thoughts: These are poor headphones because of the noise issue and lack of comfort.

1 out of 5 eggsBroken Ear Cup

Pros: Good quality sound

Cons: The ear pieces are held to the frame by a very small and very weak plastic swivel joint. If you drop them once and they land on the ear pieces they will break.

Other Thoughts: They need to fix this issue, I had 2 rma replacements now i am out of warranty so I have to buy another one!

5 out of 5 eggsCheap, but good.

Pros: I have to give them 5 stars, because for the price they have served me very well.
I have had my pair for nearly 5 years with not a single fault (i also take care of my stuff)
The sound sound and mic are exceptionally good for the price
If you want a casual pair, look no further.

Cons: Every pair of these you will buy will have the electrical interference static when you're using at high volumes, but only when no audio coming through.

Cord way too long.

Other Thoughts: I had to twist tie and stuff 4 ft of cord under my pc tower.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked for a while...

Pros: Comfortable for hours on end. Cheap for a headset.

Cons: Owned two of these because they fit that well and took exceptional care of both. Both sets were plugged in once and never relocated. The most abuse they got was removing them from stand to put on my head.

The first one broke after 4 months/500+ hours due to cheap build of volume adjuster. It started with crackling when adjusting volume, then eventually just died all together. Wiggling the cable seemed to help for a while but then they failed completely.
Second pair only lasted 3 months. One of the adjuster rails cracked (my fault) but was fixable with a little glue. Right speaker died a month later. Not sure if it was speaker itself or break in line.
I won't buy another pair.
