4 out of 5 eggsGreat Headset, Great Price, Great Value

Pros: Very high quality microphone, sounds like my voice in real life, not like I'm talking through a tin can.

Low price that gets high quality.

The headphones have virtual surround that works in every game I've played with them. Bass dial and volume dial on side allow for easy adjustments based on what I'm listening to at the time.

Works well with Xbox and with PC.

Everyone I've spoken too says my mic quality is perfect and the ability to hear yourself in real time with the headphones on through the mic is great. A bit startling the first time you hear it but you quickly get used to it and I find it helpful whenever I have to talk quietly into a mic or am wearing both headphones.

Headphones dampens and fuzzies the harsher parts of outside noise so typing is more like a clicking noise than a louder clacking noise.

Cons: Static noise is basically constant when the USB is plugged in (USB allows for all the extra cool frills like surround sound and all that) but is easy to ignore.

The construction isn't super sturdy but I haven't broken it and it appears to be durable. Dropping the headset does not appear to damage it (throwing it might, though) but as long as you're careful, it won't shatter or anything.

Some people report the microphone and such breaking after 2 months but mine is still working well after constant use, 6 months later.

1 out of 5 eggsThese are not the headphones you are looking for...

Pros: The pros don't really matter a whole ton when the product can be broken so easily.

Cons: The ear pieces are held to the frame by a very small and very weak plastic swivel joint. If you drop them once and they land on the ear pieces they will break.

Other Thoughts: Very disappointed with how easily these break.

4 out of 5 eggsHappy Customer

Pros: I bought these to replace my JVC Xplode's that I loved, but my cat found irresistible. Those had the best bass experience of my sub$100 gaming/music listening life.

These are a very good replacement, and I was needing a new mic anyway. The mic is a bit over-sensetive. But it's thoughtful design, comfort, and sound performance make this a very good headset for anyone on a budget.

The bass is great, I love it. But the "boost" dial will boost it to what seems like product/hearing damaging levels. I like the no-training wheels approach, I just hope I don't max that dial out by accident someday.

Lightweight and Comfortable
Sound Great
Nice Control
Cross Platform (PC/Xbox)

As always, Newegg practically beamed this to my house. 2 days on free shipping. That's legit.

Cons: For the price these are a awesome value. I took off a egg for the bass boost and mic. They're gonna be just fine for me though.

5 out of 5 eggsvery loud

Pros: Very loud so loud that i had to lower the volume using them for pc with xbox rwmote work really well the mic is crisp and clear for sound it has its downs the bass boost has to be adjusted or it will distort but when ajusted sounds like a real explosion these are really neat head phones comfort is a little ruff on the ears and head thats becuase they mold to your head for better sound

Cons: None but for that buzzing sound everyones getting here is the fix to that when using for pc go into devices in control panel then go to sound and sound settings go recording and ajust your mic volume to 24 buzzing noise is there but barly and for it to tottally go away remove it from the exbox remote no buzzing sound fixed now you can manually adjust it from the headset yeah baby no buzzing clear sound now enjoy these thank me later.

Other Thoughts: More comfort on the head and ears like jell padding instead of cotton .

3 out of 5 eggsNo good for PC

Pros: Good sound quality. Very comfortable. Fits over ears well.

Cons: Microphone picks up a lot of background noise. When using in Skype or other similar programs, very loud static noises.

Other Thoughts: I bought this headset to use with my PC. The wire on this headset does not appear to be sheilded. When next to a significant power source, a loud static noise will be present to people on the other end. I cannot say this for sure, because I did not cut open the wire, but when moving the wire closer and farther from the PSU on my PC the static would get louder and quieter.

Bottom Line: Probably not going to be something you'll want to buy for your PC. As for Xbox, it will likely be just fine as this is what the headset was designed for. Other than the static, this is a fantastic headset for the price.

4 out of 5 eggsGood headset

Pros: Excellent cable length. Good when using push to talk, but picks up background noise easily. Sound quality is top notch. They are lasting much longer my EarForce X11.

Works on PC and XBox. This was my primary reason for purchasing the headset.

Cons: I get a strange feedback when I plug this into an XBox controller that is charging or has the power cord plugged into it. I have a Razor Sabertooth and that does not seem to have the problem, so it is just with the original XBox controller.

Don't break the cable to the XBox controller, or you will be a very sad panda.

Other Thoughts: Emphasis on the durability aspect. If you are not plugging the headset into your controller, I recommend removing the voice cable from the headset. It hangs low the ground when not in the controller, and can break very easily if you run it over with a chair or step on it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Headset

Pros: Great sound quality, microphone is fantastic, and I love the multi-adaptability of the output connections.

Cons: I have piercings, so sometimes the headset will rub on the top of my ears, which makes them sore after playing for about an hour or so. Not certain if it is my piercings, but a slightly larger circumference would be nice. Not much of a Con really, hence why I won't reduce an egg.

4 out of 5 eggsOdd fit, amazing sound

Pros: Deep bass, amazing clarity and a nice, long cord with a velcro tether to keep things organized. Works on PC, 360 and i've heard of people rigging them to work on Playestation 3's as well. A wonderful buy for the price.

Cons: After about an hour or two of wearing the headset it begins hurting your ears. If you're an aesthetic person you'll dislike the way the microphone is attached to the headphones.

The left earcup on the first set I received didn't work properly, but was easily refunded through Newegg and I haven't had a problem since. I've had my headset for about 5 months now and haven't regretted it.

Other Thoughts: If the headset doesn't sound good enough, I highly suggest buying Triton instead.
